I swear, in all 5 years of me converting to Islam, I never once met a fundamentalist in real life who followed me around preaching. I was in the public library with my two children wearing a traditional salwar kameez and my winter coat with the hood up (It hides the hair well). Based on my dress, the woman assumed I had married a Hindu man and converted to Hinduism for him. She kept saying "Oh, you're wrong, be saved, it's the devil". I tried to be respectful at first, saying "This is what you feel. You can say what you want, my beliefs are my beliefs" (I didn't say I wasn't a Hindu, because it wasn't any of her business that I am a muslim woman). She kept on and on, finally I turned around and said "OK, lady, I've been polite to you enough and that doesn't get the message through that I am not interested in preaching. I was wondering if there was anyway to use a car battery to provide electricity to my window ac unit, and if so, for how long?
Reason being, AC accounts for a lot of an electricity bill during the summer, and i can charge my car battery at autozone for free.
I have heard of people putting small window ac units on the cars and connecting them to car batteries, and would like to know how.
any info as to certain websites would be appreciated.

I have been reading the work of Peter Singer, an atheist ethicist at Princeton University. He has a very strong stance about wealth and poverty. As a Christian, I am struck by rigor of his moral thinking (in this area, not others) and wonder what others think.

He argues that the injustice of some people living in abundance while others starve is morally indefensible. Singer proposes that anyone able to help the poor should donate part of their income to aid poverty and similar efforts. Singer reasons that, when one is already living comfortably, a further purchase to increase comfort will lack the same moral importance as saving another person's life. Consequently, one is responsible for deaths that could have been prevented just as much as those that are directly caused. Is your living beyond your basic needs a passive form of murder?

I burned a Data-DVD with a file that is larger than 2 GB. Nero force me to use the UDF file system for the disc. After sucessful burn. My DVD Drive can't read the disc at all.
How can I fix this?

i've done this kind of problem before given the amount of water in g, but how do you do it when given in mL??

I have a question for you. Now, I am not judging, I am just curious about your opinions. What would you do if you were raped and a child resulted from that? Would you still be pro life?

Am I pro life? Put it this way. If i were ever raped and a pregnancy resulted from it, I would raise that child with the same love and care I give to my own children as it's not the child's fault and the child should not be made to suffer for how it was conceived. That doesn't meant I want to say that to other women, because every woman is different and has her own unique circumstances, but personally I could never ever get an abortion or give up a child of mine for adoption.

How do you as women feel about this and what would you do?

i am really getting pissed off at my dog. he barks at every person he sees and every dog he sees from a while away. i am very desperate to get him to stop. do not give me the usual 'say NO' IT IS NOT WORKING. my neighbours said that if she hears him back one more time she'll call animal control and take him away. please give me a fast, effective way to stop his barking. i have had patience with him for a year now but it hasnt stopped. he is a jack russell, very hyper and i cant catch him

i tend to feel itchy at night when I am lying on the bed to sleep or when i think of the word itchy, i tend to feel itchy! But I bath everyday and change the bedsheet every week. By the way, i did not see any bug or worm on the place where i felt itchy.. So what is that?? How come i feel itchy when theres nothing on my affected area??

more then atheists do. see, most christians believe that unborn babies are free of sin thus go directly to heaven. So why get all upset that the child won't suffer on earth? they could live eternity with god so why do christians get all upset about it. seeing as an atheist believes we have only one life and should enjoy that life don't you think we have more of a moral dilemna about it than you do?
