more then atheists do. see, most christians believe that unborn babies are free of sin thus go directly to heaven. So why get all upset that the child won't suffer on earth? they could live eternity with god so why do christians get all upset about it. seeing as an atheist believes we have only one life and should enjoy that life don't you think we have more of a moral dilemna about it than you do?

God created that life--we are fearfully and wonderfully made in our mothers womb. Each baby is precious in the sight of God and therefore deserves to live.
Abortion is murder.

I am a christian and asked a similar ques on this forum when I first started and got bashed for it. I really do understand what you are trying to say here, but I do not think anyone really knows where you are coming from. I wasn't condoning abortion in my ques at all as I know that abortion is murder. My emphasis was on the fact that even tho it is wrong, murder, against God and so on, that an unborn baby, if they go to heaven wouldn't be better off than a baby raised in an nonchristian home. That if they went to heaven anyway, that = 100% Heavenbound, not 99% or lower chance of not going to heaven due to their possible influence from nonbelieving parents or the world. I'll probably get bashed again, but I still wonder. And again, yes abortion is totally against God and we have no right to kill others and I am totally appauled by it. Don't expect many to understand your ques, they didn't mine either. Mine was Just out of curiosity. God bless

No, Christians do not believe that unborn babies are free of sin- because it says in the Bible that we are conceived in sin- the reason that God takes aborted babies to heaven is because they cannot make that decision for themselves, as newly born babies cannot either. This is part of the mercy of God. Besides your argument- how can anyone even consider taking the life of a child?

I agree phil. Obviously this women is using a horrible form of logic called the famous red herring. It skirts the issue and you nailed the issue. ABORTION IS MURDER, STOP TRYING TO GET OUT OF REALITY. Wasn't it just the other day that a doctor recorded video footage of a baby oops oh i'm sorry I meant FETUS extending its tiny hand to grab the finger of the physicians? I must be so wrong to think that's a real live being in the womb. I mean who am I to make that judgement call right, after all we're all just animals and in the end we just fertilize the earth, there can't possibly be anything after life...Napolean what do you think...."IDIOTS!"

Dont be suprised!Abortion is murder, for one there are more people in volved in Abortion than just the baby. Abortion in most cases is a pretty selfish act, like suicide is, we have all been given free will by God, and it is not our right to take away that of a baby. ill pray for you. Gods word never comes back void.

By this logic it would be okay to kill newborns as well as the unborn. As a matter of fact, by your logic it would be okay to kill anyone under the age of accountablity. They cannot be held accountable for their sins, and could live eternity with God. The issue is that abortion ends a life, therefore it is murder.

yes I agree atheist do have more a moral dilemma,
WOW that's really profound,I never thought of it that way.
to believe theres no after life and yet choose to extinguish someones only chance of one is so cruel and heartless and selfish.
what really upsets Christians is they believe it's murder #1.
#2. is the horrific pain a baby feels getting it's arm & legs tore off, and brains sucked out, or burnt alive in saline. when it never ask to be conceived.
our only relief is that sweet baby is in Heaven

that's pretty much true.
personally i feel that if we just develop surefire contraception methods and develop early-pregnancy abortion methods (abortion pills), we won't have to make iffy moral decisions. I really think that if christians step back from saying zygotes and blastoplasms have souls (if they were, don't you think that god would have made it clear in the bible since it obviously is so contentious nowadays), we can all reach a meeting point.

I'm an atheist, and I don't think murder is right, ergo, I don't think abortion is right in all situations. Abortion is right in cases of rape, incest, or saving a woman's life, sure. But hey, it's not my body, I'm not going to tell anyone what to do to their own bodies. Especially concerning something that I'll never experience (I'm male, if you couldn't piece that together).

I would like people to think about their decision on abortions. I am against aborttions because there is always giving up the baby for adoption. then you can find the kid later in life.
