However ,each poet's view toward America IS dissimiliar.
IS in this case is correct because of the singular noun VIEW would call for is. If the word was views then the verb would be ARE. Example However the views of each poet towards America are dissimiliar

each view is :Correct
each view are :Incorrect
keep mindful of the subject verb agreement
He she it is dissimilar -- singular
"They" are dissimilar -- plural
Suggested sentence change
However, the view of a poet towards America can be dissimilar.
I have always thought of english as one of the most confusing languages. Good luck. Trust microsoft too.

However each poet's view is dissimilar...view is the subject of the sentence and it explains that only the view of each poet is dissimilar, not the actual poet

you are absolutely wrong. let me give you one example why Microsoft word keeps underlining "are" telling you to change it to " is"
Continents use singular verb not plural.
eg America is a good continent.
you don't have to use are instead of is. see this example.
America are ....
Americas are ...

it is a subject-verb aggreement mistake. don't be confused by the word 'each' - even though it seems like it's referring to several poets, it's not - it's referring to *each* singular one:
each poet's view ... is dissimilar
each person's hat ... is different
each dog's nose ... is cold
vs
poets' views ... are dissimilar
people's hats ... are different
dogs' noses ... are cold
see?

You used the words "each" and "view", indicating the subject is singular. "Is" is the correct verb.

The sentence is awkward, it sounds like some one who wants to sound erudite, but doesn't quite pull it off. Your trying to convey a simple thought. Keep it simple. Are you in law school?

It is.
The subject of your verb is "view," which is singular. "The view is," you wouldn't say "the view are."
