sometimes i feel itchy if i go to bed after taking a warm shower. It could have a lot to do with the type of soap you are using and it could be drying your skin a little bit, even though it may not look dry, it could cause a little itchy feeling. I used to sleep with my shirt off, but i noticed that putting one on helps with the itchy feelings.

I'm always itchy when I get sleepy, it seems to be pretty common.
Reminds me of the cartoon where the old folks scratch when they get tired.
Not much to do about it, that's just the way you are.
Distraction like reading helps lots! Read or do a puzzle, or watch a bit of tv. Just keep your mind occupied, and you'll do fine.

If you're using any type of bubble bath or bath oil, stop that. Change your brand of laundry detergent to Clorox. Are you on any medications? If you're allergic to it that will definitely cause itching. Otherwise , all I can recommend is a dermatologist. They can easily check if you're allergic to anything. Two needles in your back that don't hurt a bit. One is for a food allergy, and the other is for everything else like pollen, stuffed animals, cat or dog dander, etc. Good luck.

I am the same way! Especially with my feet. Someone told me that if you take a benadryl (regular or generic, like the $1,50 kind from the dollar store) that it helps a great deal to relieve these feelings. I know it sounds weird because that is an allergy medication, but honestly, I know people who use that and they get great relief. I want to try it myself but I'm currently on antiobiots and I'm afraid to go mixing the pair. But I plan on trying it myself because that sensation drives me bonkers. Hope this helps you because I know how you feel. Good luck.

Because you think of itching. Don't think about it and you won't itch. Dry skin may be a cause of this so try using lotion and mosturizing your body or places that itch. If none of these seem to work, see your doctor and see if you have a skin condition or something. Good luck hope all is well.

don't worry! i tend to have the same thing!... the only solution that i have found is to let your matress out for 2 hours in the sun! take an antibiotical soap and an antibiotical creme and use them for about 1 week or two. drink a lot of water and just stop itching. its probably that your skin is to dry.

could it be dry skin. Drink more water and use moisturising lotions. Another reason could be that you may be alergic to something in your room or bed. Perhaps the detergent or something in the pillow or the bed sheets.
