How much is the trade deficit? Does the trade deficit mean that the USA is buying more than it is selling? (Yes, my knoweledge in economics is admittedly very weak).

I mean i know i've been asking a lot of questions about this stuff for a 15 year old. But I mean the USA is probably the best country to live in EVER, and you would think that other countries would want equal success and become democratic countries, which would change a lot of problems in the world!! I guess this goes back to the question "why can't we all just get along" man it just is starting to bother me that sometime in my lifetime USA is going to go through another "depression" or "war" and all these peace that we have now is going to be gone. and it's just funny how they're is a whole other universe out there and here we are just one little speck of life, so you would think we would be unified. but instead we all speak different languages and have different religions, different beliefs. We start wars and kill our own species. It's almost embarrasing, and sometimes I even hope that aliens attack, because then the whole world would unite.

I am mixed, Chinese/Lao/French/Indian, but more than 2/3rds of me is Asian...I am wondering if I am racist towards Asians because I have lots of friends, but only 2-3 are Oriental....never dated an Oriental girl...I just don't find them attractive; but I do love brown girls.

I am 25, left Laos (small country next to Thailand) when I was 2, came to Canada...I've always been the odd one sticking out as there aren't too many Orientals in my area, nor were there in university...am I racist or a product of my environment? Anyways, I am going back to China and Laos in a month to retrace my roots....would that do anything or do I not have a problem?

my 5 yr old is having problems keeping up with the rest of the class but I also know that when she being tested she like freezes up. like she knows it but can't do it when put on the spot. i really don"t know if retaining her is for the best or it will hurt her in the long run.

Ive always been told you would stick to the roof and even seen it in movies. Is it true? It seems like gravity would act the same on both the elevator and you, making you fall at the same rate as the elevator. So you would feel weightless, but your feet would be touching the floor of the elevator on the fall.

Last summer I had a cute sheer blouse on (and a bra underneath) and noticed a man looking at me with this big cheesy smile on his face and he said good morning very loudly as I was going into the main office at my son's school to take care of some business matters.
