TOugh call; a motel might have been a better choice, but better felon than dead I guess.

Laws vary from State to State, but usually the only way you would be charged with a felony for sleeping in your car if you were under the influence of drugs and/or alchohol when it occurred; otherwise, it would be a misdemeaor and be charged with something along the lines of vagrancy.

If that is the case, get an attorney and see about getting it plead down to a lesser charge.
