How far can an alien be so we can "hear" it? Lets consider that there is a similar civilization as ours with the same amount of radiation

the calculations by Karman tell us that we wouldn't be able to validate any "good" signal to the nearest star.

If this is correct then what are we trying to listen?

Here in Alabama.. It's partly cloudy, 73 degrees, it's very very humid, rather dark, and I hear lots of crickets and bugs singing outback.

Last Wednesday i was getting cramps, and i get like fatique and i thought i was getting the stomoch flu. It almost felt like i had the real flu- the symptoms that is. My mind is like foggy... and im still a little tired. I feel like im getting better. Im just wondering if it was some kind of virus maybe?

If someone has 4 girlfriends in a 2 year period then isnt he practicing polygamy ?

He has been or still is co-habitating with 4 women. Since common law marriage is accepted and no divorce is need.......wouldnt this be considered polygamy ?

come on christians I found it, can u find it? OR has God hidden this wisdom from u,,,,,U need the KJV to find it, the other bibles r wrote wrong. I frightend the pastor with it, cuss he was going on and on your not aloud to be married in heaven... If any one finds It I will give them 10 points. My BIL is having a destination wedding and in addition to that they are having a party prior to the wedding to celebrate. Since our daughter's 2nd birthday is in July we asked that they did it any other weekend but the weekend of her birthday and they agreed. I just got a phone call that they have decided to have it that weekend anyway and whats worse on her birthday. Their explanation for this, they want to see her on her birthday. Unfortunately I have already begun planning her party and quite frankly, don't want to change our plans, I feel like this is outright rude shows a total disregard for peoples plans and feelings...am I being crazy or am I justified for not wanting to go to this party in addition to their wedding at the beginning of August?

Let me just start by saying that my husband is very wealthy, making about $2,000,000 per annum. I have found someone at my tennis club who is also very wealthy who I want to go for. What's the best way to divorce my husband and partner with this gentleman while still being eligible for alimony payments. Is there any way to remarry and still collect the alimony payments? I just really don't want to be at a loss here if things don't work out.

I live in Newport Beach, California if that makes any difference with the divorce laws.

I am just starting OTCL and have just gotten off the mini-pill. One of the things I didn't like about the mini-pill was that you had to take it around the same time every day for it to be effective. I had my phone alarm set to go off when it was time to take it but the pills weren't always with me or my phone wasn't there to remind me. I missed pills that way and I hate living paranoid that I'm going to get pregnant again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought a house during the winter. No that is is warming up I am using the AC. I have noticed a strong smell of cat urine comming from the vents. this only happens when the AC is on not the heat. any Ideas as to what may be causing this and what i can do to help it. thanks.

I had my lawn sprinkler system turned off by the lawn sprinkler maintenance guy for the winter season. Every year I have him to come back to do what it needs to be done for spring time. I am just wondering can I just turn the water on and have it run without his help? Is it as easy as just turn the faucet back on and program the timer?
