An atheist was taking a walk through the woods. "What majestic trees!
What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.

As he continued walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the
bushes. Turning to look, he saw a seven foot grizzly charging towards
him. He ran as fast as he could up the path. Looking over his shoulder
he saw that the bear was closing in on him. His heart was pumping
frantically and he tried to run even faster.

He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up
but saw the bear raising his paw to take a swipe at him.

At that instant the atheist cried out: "Oh my God."

Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent.

It was then that a bright light shone upon the man and a voice came
out of the sky saying:

"You deny my existence for all of these years, teach others I don't
exist and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you expect me
to help you out of this predicament?

Am I to count you as a believer?"

The atheist looked directly into the light.

"It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a
Christian now, but perhaps, could you make the bear a Christian?"

"Very well," said the voice. The light went out, and the sounds of the
forest resumed.

And then the bear lowered his paw, bowed his head and spoke:

"Lord, bless this food which I am about to receive and for which I am
truly thankful, Amen."

Do the 50 million Germans resent this statement ?

Do Christians just disown anybody who might make Christianity look violent ?

If a mass murderer shoots somebody, do all the Christians automatically excommunicate him and declare he "was never a Christian" ?

Does that somehow help them to convince themselves that they are the most peaceful people to walk the face of the earth ?

Very very curious and wondering what psyche produces this attitude...

I am a junior in high school right now, so I won't be applying to college til around November. Should I already be searching for scholarships?, or do I worry about that after I get accepted into a college?

oh and if i do need to be searching, do you know where I could find out more information about them?

Could I just be making them up? What's wrong with me?

These emotions are not new. Again, this semester I'm starting to feel uncomfortable whenever I am around people. I feel silent, awkward, uncomfortable with myself and others. Call it whatever you want to call it...anxiety, low cofidence...etc. I feel ugly, lame, extremely stupid and vulnerable. I feel like I'm forced to speak. Somedays I feel invisible, alone and other days I want to be invisible. Somedays I feel like I'm not noticed, other days I feel like everyone is staring at me, thinking negative things about me, greatly incompetent. I've always had an A gpa, but this semester I lost myself in so many ways and I am failing my classes. I'v disappointed my professors, my classmates, myself. I keep a positive attitude these days, but why does this keep on happening? Last semester I misinterpreted things, but I showed confidence, leadership skills, people looked up to me, I was noticed, busy and got straight A's. Illness?

*so far* this has just been an internet & phone connection. i'm embarrassed to say, but i'm absolutely falling for (have fallen for?) this guy without even having met him yet. i HAVE seen many pictures, as well as webcam, so i know im incredibly attracted to him. (he's seen several photos of me and i know he feels the same way.)

i'm freaking out right now because he's pulling away from me over the last couple of days and i can definitely tell. he's lost interest - he just isn't the same as he was at the beginning, which was about 5 weeks ago. this has been difficult the entire time (he lives about 4 hours away), but we were planning to meet at some point and i was really serious about it. so serious i've even considered moving to his area. (lol, that sounds insane, i know... but i'd been planning to move anyway. :p)

anyway, i might know what to do if this had happened in person, but what do you do when it's over the internet?! is there anything i can do to re-ignite his interest?

When i stand up from sitting/laying down (no matter how fast or slow i do it) it feels as if my head is litterally about to explode, everything gets dark and extremly dizzy i almost fall over everytime. is this normal or should i see a doctor?

The set up I'm building is:
-Intel C2D E6600
-Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) Motherboard
-GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz DDR2
-BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 320MB GDDR3
-Antec P180 case


I have no idea where to begin cooling this thing as, despite getting generic fans and heat sinks with the components, I'm wondering if its not going to be sufficient?I do want to avoid water cooling though.

any help will be REALLY appreciated.

I asked a question not long ago and it turned out that there is a lot of misconception about the brand. So I guess my questions is: would you give Hyosung a second look knowing that they have ties with Suzuki and actually built a lot of engines for them? All the ones I see at my hardware store just say that they include Molybdenum, but do not mention Molybdenum Disulfide on the product label or the MSD (Material saftey data sheet).
