Then will this end all the Catholic traditions of praying for the dead? And the idea of indulgences -- that if a deceased loved one has passed on there are certain times when they will be admitted to Heaven if their family prays for them?

I have several years of dental assisting and practice management experience. I enjoy the dental field and the job security I have found within it. In several offices I have successfully increased production and collections while assisting the doctors in lowering overhead and decreasing turnover. Making for much happier dentists. I have a business license now for dental consulting. I want to know as a dentist what you would look for the most when hiring a dental consultant. Have you done it? Would you consider it? It starts out like this. My parents get really stressed whenever I mention marching band or percussion ensemble because my older sister use to be in marching band but she let it ruin her grades by focusing ONLY on band, she might not go to college and its what they REALLY want for us. So theyre afraid this will happen to me because Im in band. One day they got so angry they start yelling and screaming like the usually do since my mother is bi-polar and my father is a jerk. But this time theyre yelling at me. He slapped me, my mother tried to choke me but my dad stopped her. The next day after my dad goes to work my mother tells me I cant be in band, that I suck at it, that even if its my passion it doesnt matter. Than days later when theyre NORMAL again they say I can stay in band and she says she's sorry. But now I wont let them come to my percussion competitions, concerts, & other music related things. When she says she supports me on music I ignore her. AM I being too hard?

I would like to look at my parents' divorce case from 1988. Can I just walk into the courthouse and ask for it? I'm also interested in where I can get statistics on the early Paternal custody successes. I know my father was one of the first in a geographic sense but it isn't something I can ask him. (not sure if it was our county, our half of the state, our state, etc.) I am proud of the fact that he raised me and want to know more.

I have an african clawed underwater frogs and I am sure that my female has swallowed 3 pea sized pebbles in my aquarium. Is there anything I can do that can make her reveargatate (sp?) or other means not including cutting her. She is about 2 inches with the legs. I am sure she swallowed it. Thanks, This question is open to all but state if you had experience with theese frogs. Oh, and frogs aren't reptiles.

A friend I know had committed an act of child molestation at age 15. He improperly touched the boy, who was age 7 at the time. The boy recented revealed what occured to him and my friend (who is now 25) has been locked up with no bail.

Now, by no means do I support what this idiot did! However, he was 15 at the time and 10 years has passed. Is their some sort of statute of limitations on this and if not, what's that maximum penalty he could get?

African American or some other minority? I think there would be a lot more sympathy for him. I know what he did was beyond description but can you imagine what emotional pain he must have been suffering to do something of the magnitude as what he did. I'm not making excuses but if we want to best prevent future 'Cho" we better dam.n well figure him out as best we can.

Honestly, with respect, I just don't believe in your religion as I don't believe in Christianity either.

However, although I do feel fairly well versed on Christianity I do not feel well versed on Islam.

I think knowledge is the biggest key to preventing misunderstandings and learning more about what other people are thinking. I really don't trust the American media for giving me information on Islam. I don't think they are "evil", just lazy.

So I'm going to look at information for myself.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
