I currently live with my mom and have a pretty close relationship with her. However, I am still hesitant to tell her that sometimes I sleep over my boyfriend's house. Some times I tell her that I am at my best friend's house. I dont want to keep lying to her. Especially because I am 26 and I really like this guy. My mom has only met him once, and even though she is pretty open minded (inspite of our latin culture), i think that she will not be okay with me staying over his house. How can I tell her and what can I tell her so that she can understand that its normal. note: my boyfriend lives an hour away so it sucks having to come back home the same night. I just want to tell her without beating around the bush.

I can't get this theme song out of my head, but I can't remember which old TV show it was from. The start of the song goes:

Anyone know what that's from? It's really bugging me.

From a purely scientific (not spiritual or metaphysical) perspective, is immortality a possibility?

I understand telomeres and mitosis - where the DNA shortens each division ,etc....but
there are also theories like computer conciousness and artificial intelligence where the mind could be downloaded, preserving only the brain (the neurons don't undergo mitosis) -cryogenics- -although there would be undisputable cell damage from chemicals like antifreeze.....the list continues --is there any scientific hope for immortality in the 21st century???

She is going through repeated trauma. She has already taken various therapies like shirodhara, basti, abhyanga etc. and taking medicines also. She keeps taking abhyanga once in a month then she feels only one percent relaxation then she wants peace and care and if opposite of that happens then she finds herself in a terrible situation. She is having severe mood swings and she is unable to cope with severe stress. She herself says that she is not being herself and feels that she has gone crazy. She says she doesn't know what she says and how she has to behave? She feels that she has severe memory loss also. She even decided to commit suicide and wrote letter also. She is living with her in laws who are torturing her and not let her marriage certificate made. What should she do????? She wants to finish her life and can take this step any moment.

Hi,my Albino Green Burm eats alot. Hes about 28 inches long and eats 2-3 small mice a week or 1 small to medium rat a week.Do u think he could eat a small chick or finch?Im ways being told to feed him a variety of food.So i want to mix it up a bit. Do u think he could eat a small chick or finch?

i work at walmart and as many of u know they are changing to navy blue shirts and khaki pants for their employees. i have until june 18th to comply but i need to find some khaki pants that are long enough for me. i am about 6'1 not a stick thin girl but not fat. i have hips on me and i need some pants that will fit right, be long enough, maybe even to touch the ground that would be cool, and look good. so if anyone knnows of any place that has some please let me know. thanks a bunch

there is a 2 year old in my daycare that has refused to get up and participate for 3 weeks now. could he be depressed? he freaks out when his pant leg lifts up or his hands get dirty... could this be autism? he gets up for book time and outside time, but when i try to ask him to play with me, he just pouts and says he wants to relax and lays down again...

I took my 3 year old to the eye doctor today. She's been complaining for a long time that she couldn't see well, but she's coveted her cousin's glasses for so long that I was sure she just wanted a pair of her own and would get over it. She failed her eye test at school, so we decided to get her checked out ourselves because I've never held much faith in the eye exams that school's give.

She sat in the chair at the eye clinic today, and the doctor pulled a picture up on the overhead of a birthday cake. I could see it clearly and I was standing right next to her.

He said "Sweetie, what is that a picture of.."

She looked at it for a long time before saying.. "A volcano??"

Her eyeglasses prescription is -400.
