Wow, I loved so many childrens books - the Laura Ingalls Wilder series of books, Dr Suess books, Trixie Belden, and many, many of Enid Blyton - I guess my absolute favourite was The Enchanted Tree by Enid Blyton, I loved the fantasy and escapism and friendship of that series of books.

I additionally enjoyed the Berenstein Bears. In early teenagers, I examine lots of Dr. Seuss. "eco-friendly Eggs and Ham" replaced into the 1st e book I ever examine thoroughly. :) And, in my teenage years, my sought after e book is "a great and poor elegance" via Libba Bray and the Harry Potter books.

The Sneetches and Other Stories by Dr. Seuss. The themes of overcoming bigotry and fear of the unknown resonate in my life to this day.
