My friend says since objects fall to the ground at 9.8 meters per second, that if you fired a gun into the air completely parallel to the ground at a height of 9.8 meters, than the bullet would take 1 second to reach the ground after it was fired. I think the force on the bullet to move forward would counter-act the force of gravity for a while, causing the bullet to stay in the air for longer than a second. What is the correct theory???

Hey!

Two of my friends and I have our 18th birthday in Early September and we are starting to plan our joint party.

Because there are three of us, we will have quite a large budget if we pool our money together and hopefully will be able to afford food and alcohol for everyone, as well as possibly some live bands.

We have thought of hiring a nearby yacht club; there is an inside area, marquee and a small pier by the river.

We don't want to have a fancy dress theme, but we think it would be great to have a gorgeous theme for the decorations!

We will be inviting 200+ people to the event and want the decorations to look decadent and generally give an amazing first impression!

Please help me by suggesting some beautiful decoration ideas.. =)

My mother got pine-sol in her eyes today..she immediatly rinsed it out with some water from a first aid kit...but one of her eyes are still really red.....it happend today so shes waiting to see if it gets better tomorrow if not im hoping she goes to a doctor...but meanwhile does anyone know of anything that might help like an eye solution such as visine..thanks.

My baby girl's dad is from India, he is not dark skinned but has very black hair. I am caucasian and very white with strawberry blonde hair. When she was first born she had jet black hair. Now she is 3 weeks old and its got a reddish brown color to it. Will it lighten as she gets older or darken back to black again? I am getting conflicting answers from family. Most people say it will darken with age.

Ive seen most people say they don't believe in god because there is no evidence for him. There is also no evidence against him, so logically couldn't there be a god. I'm not saying the christian god, just a god. It doesnt have to be allpowerful or allimighty, it could have just created everything and thats it. Or else any other possibility. But doesn't it seem illogical to say that definitely no god exists. Then if you do believe some part of what I said, that makes you an agnostic not a atheist.

Im an agnostic deist, so don't say anything dealing with christianity.

I had my baby girl on March 29, she was born with some significant marks on her face called Stork bites or Angel Kisses. They are on her forhead, eyelids, nose, and upper lip. I was very upset and concerned about them since they were pretty red. The doctors and nurses kept telling me they are normal and common and will fade with time. Though other people have said they might stay and she will need cosmetic surgery. Does anyone have kids that had these and how long generally did it take for them to go away. Did anyone have to have cosmetic surgery for them?
