I have a new ipod video, and want to put some DVDs from home on it. I dont want to spend money on a program that can convert for me. I downloaded one called Jodix Free Ipod Video converter but it will not convert my dvds, an error keeps occuring. I also downloaded Xilisoft Dvd to Ipod converter, and it worked, but it only lets you watch the first five minutes and costs $30.00.
I was just wondering whether you know of any free converters available online (with no spyware or trojans, adaware, etc.)
If not, I guess I will just buy the xili one since i know it works.

This years theme is "Every Victim- Every Time"....My question is if you had to do something in your community to bring awareness to Victims of crime what would you do?

I think we all vow not to be a victim but unfortunately and realistically crime is out there and regardless whatever we try to do to prevent it sometimes it just catches us....

With some of the politicians suggesting the return of the draft, maybe it would be fairer if all males when they graduate from high school or turn 18 if they dropout went through basic military training. Women could volunteer. Then those individuals that like the life style can volunteer and those that don't can go home with a lot of practical knowledge under their belts. If it is still necessary to use the draft the soldiers will be ready in half the time.

What are the advantages of using Supreme gasoline? I understand that the octane rating is different but how is that a plus? What does it affect?

Also, does it matter if the two are mixed? If you think about it logically, gas stations that have one hose for the 3 different types the person before you most likely filled with regular and when you first start pumping your getting the left over regular is the hose regardless of what gas you choose.

My son who will be 12 yrs.old next month wants a laptop for his birthday. He is on ESPN all the time checking either basketball stats or baseball stats.
What's the difference between a laptop and a notebook, and which one would be best for a pre-teen?????

The car at least turned on when I had the bad battery in it. Now when I have the new battery in the lights, door locks etc. wont even work. The car doesn't even make a sound when I turn the key. I have already checked all fuses in the car. The only thing I can think of is that there could be a theft mechanism in the computer of the car thats preventing me from starting it. Maybe I shorted the battery out when putting the new one in, who knows? If anyone has any experience with this specific problem please help.

what are the side effects of taking birth control? i have horrible cramps, am sicker the a dog for 24 hours, i pass out the whole works. i went to an OBGYN and all he perscribed was birth control called YAZ. thats all. i've tried other pain killers. and nothing really else works. as i see it bc is my only option. side effects i'm worried about though. anything i should know?

My son needed a co signer to buy a car, so I went and put my name down for a loan. He is paying faithfully and it has not been problematic. We put about $3K down on the loan.
Now my daughter just got a job and needs a car. She has no money saved and we live in the middle of no where and she has to drive 23 miles to work every day. I cannot loan her my car and she doesnt have anyone to car pool with, so do I co sign another loan for a car payment or do we find another way to get her a car?
How can she get a car? I would like to help her get out of my house and get on her own. She will be working at Walmart.
