One of two things.
1) Your new battery is dead.
2) You hooked the battery up backwards and fried the electrical system.

flow with the ACCORD, I actual have offered 2 new Camaros off the coach room floor (1997, 2010) and their depreciation, high quality, and build are very a lot lacking while in comparison with Honda. you would be back on the chevrolet broker minimum as quickly as a year claiming guarantee on a broken some thing. The Honda will final for a reliable 5 years till now you even think of roughly servicing it. yet your excellent how not so cool the accord is to force every day. I force my 2010 camaro as my on an well-known basis driving force and wont exchange it till they make a sparkling one. i will gladly pay the uber-high priced restore costs as a results of fact i individually will not be able to place a value tag on how reliable it makes me experience to force an american activities automobile.

if you have the old battery, reintall it and see what happens.
if it tries to turn over. the new battery may be bad. you can get bad parts off the shelf. and also what did the battery cables look like, was the positive corroded, if so clean it good.
the security would not keep it from starting, it would just die
a second later. and also it would still have power to turn lights on

If no lights are working you might have left the battery terminals loose. If the anti-theft device was activating the lights and all would work but when you start it it would shut off seconds after.

check your connections to the battery, they might not be making good contact also just because the battery is new it doesn't mean that it is charged, sometimes they sit on shelfs for a long time and it got overlooked when they charge them up at the store.

Just fixed this problem in mine. Research how to bypass the VATS Security system. My cable came disconnected and just needed reattached. But had a friend that had entire system need to be rewired and bypassed.

make sure you put it in correctly. then check connections at the starter. you can short across the poles at the starter and see if the engine turns that would narrow it down some.
usually these problems are harder to find than fix.
