I saw a special on The Science Channel about time travel, and they were saying that it is possible that people from the future could be walking around in our time. What do you think about that? Kind of crazy.

I personally think that time travel is possible, but only into the future, never backwards.
The principle of time travel is based on the speed of light, and the faster you are to reaching light speed, the more (from your view point) the universe and everything else slows down.

Yeah, kind of crazy.
But I suppose IF time travel is possible, then at some future time it will be invented and those people could be visiting us now. They must be doing it in secret though, because I never met of even heard of a person from the future.

I'm not too sure about time travel because if time travel was possible it would have to be discovered eventually in the future and since the future is theoretically all time and forever past today (infinity). And in an infinite time there would be infinte time traveling machines and with infinite machines infinite people would be coming back and forth through time so with all that an infinite number of people would have visited our time and since we have found ONE i dont think it could be possible.
Any responce?

Not crazy at all. One possible scenario would be to go back in time through a worm hole. A bit beyond our current capabilities to be sure but who knows what the future holds. In order to travel forward in time, however, the current assumptions of relativity will have to be overturned. But things change rapidly. Scientists in the US and in Italy have reported to have accelerated light pulses 300 times their normal velocity. Stay tuned.

If there was one time traveler here they would be every where,in the past and in the future.
It's not possible.

I haven't studied much on this but everything I've seen has pretty much stated that you can only go FORWARD in time not backward. Though I think Einstein had a theory about being able to watch the past, from your current time. Like being able to "tune" into the sounds waves of the past on a radio if that makes sense.

actually, i would rather guess a time traveler from the distant past would be more a reality, than from the future for two reasons:
mankind was much more connected to our real abilities in the past, and...
i don't think there is much of a future left...perhaps a few hundred years and mankind will be more concerned about survival than time travel.

well I'm not sure.I read an article long time before which was saying if we connect two wormholes we can travel back to the future but it didn't say anything about going to the past.

Probably not. You can go to the future though. But I'm not sure about the past.

time travel .......normally based on the speed of light.........because we know that time slow,s as we go faster....it is thought that time actually stop,s at the speed of light..........new theory,s are working on time/space distortion due to gravitational variance,s.......different variant,s of the string theory,etc.............although it is very unlikely a human could travel throughout time....Dr.A Einstein believed time viewing would be very possible......but if you could travel through time you would still have to consider the possibility of a paradox........say you go back and inadvertently cause an accident ....which kill,s your mother....then you could never be born to travel thru time.......but science go,s on......perhaps, ...one day...we will be able to view time....like an old new,s reel.....& prevent thing,s from happening....like 911............now that,s worth something...........but it,s still unlikly.....if it were possible....someone from the future would have gone to the past & warned us of impending disaster....thing is........would we listen?..or throw them in a nut house......or at least hold them...to verify their story....but then the disaster will hapen.......then would we listen?...who know,s?
