I cant stomach the radio today. I think after 9/11 and after Bush got in, everything went down the toilet and there's no good artists anymore. I mean there's this poppy crap that promotes materialism, and then there's gangster rap where you have to be a gangster and also materialistic and those white kids who try to be black just make it worse. I listened to music from 10 years ago and it rocked. There was grunge and alt rock and the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s were the best. what happened? why is everyone selling out? is iit just me or is music getting worse. are we in need of another musical revolution/ another genius? it's your opinion, and best and most detailed answer gets best answer. there also has to be a good reason as well.

what are your thoughts on someone apologizing for a criminal just because they are the same race as the criminal. I realize this may get a little politically incorrect but I feel a man or woman who commits a crime no matter what race is not a reflection on others of the same race. I was reading today how many Koreans and Korean Americans are taking responsiblility or apologizing for what Seung-Hui Cho did. I beleive he was his own person and no matter what his race would have done it sooner or later. I am sorry for the loss he took but blaming a race for one man or even a small group of people is wrong. I will accept their apology but feel it truly was not needed as a burden for others but him to bear.

To make a long story short, we have been told by our 6 yo DD, that the 12 yo DD of my best friend of 30 yrs, has been doing inappropriate things with her when in her room alone. The other girl denies everything. Both girls are sticking to their stories. We are considering taking our DD to a counselor to deal with this issue, as well as to determine the truthfulness. (yes, we believe her, but this is going to destroy two families) So, my Q is that, if a counselor determines her story to be the truth, are they legally obligated to report this to the authorities. We DO NOT want to press any charges as long as my friend gets her DD some help. She is a single Mom, no other family, and its going to be hard enough on her that we are now no longer part of her life). Our DD seems to be handling everything good so far, but we do, maybe, want to also seek outside help. Help on my Q is appreciated, not looking for judgement. T/Y in advance.

I live in Ireland and our gun laws are extremely strict. Something which I'm glad of. My Dad used to own a hunting gun, which to this day I still don't know where he kept it. They laws regarding hunting guns are also very strict here. Our police do not carry guns, but we have an armed response unit if it is required. Yes criminals carry guns, which they get illegally, something which cannot be stopped. We still don't have high gun related deaths. I feel scared when I'm in countries where people can carry guns and the police carry guns, not protected. I just think it's so odd that so many Americans believe guns can protect them. It makes no sense at all

I recently had stuffed shells from a restuarant and loved them, they seem pretty basic though, no riccotta cheese, or cottage cheese or anything like that. My b/f has been to court many times reagrding his 5 year old son. At first, he was going to court because the mother would not let him see his son, and now he is going back because of unpaid child support (about $200, btw). But there have been many visits in between and he has always showed up alone while she always has a lawyer. In the future, I think it might be a good idea for him to show up with representation. However, we can not afford a lawyer. The child's mother has yet again denied him his visitation for reasons that I understand she is not able to deny visitation to him for. When he goes to family court again, how can we find him representation? What do we look up in the phone book? We just need to be pointed in the right direction, because we have no idea where to find a free lawyer if its even possible. Please help.

Do you think law need to be changed to avoid these types of violent episodes? The parents of one of the students, perhaps the last one to be shot by Cho before he committed suicide, were surprised at how easily it is to purchase a gun. These parents and their children, had been relief workers in some of the most dangerous areas of the world ( Somalia, etc), yet to come back to the USA to have their son witness this massacre by someone with a gun.
