Recently our small office workgroup network has installed a Vista machine. During my configuration on the existing computer, I uninstalled the old workable Simple Tcp/Ip protocol and other protocol and reinstalled them. Upon restarting, I noticed that I can no longer make the Win2k machine log into the existing Workgroup. In fact, the machine does not even allow me to click the Network ID button in order to run the network wizard.

To make things confusing, other workgroup computer, both XP and Vista, are able to read my shared folder at will. What went wrong?

My machine is window 2K, updated to latest update files till very recently. Anyhelp will be great. Thanks a lot.

I need help. I do not understand how to balance equations.

Write balanced equations for the following reactions.

a. The precipation of the five cations (Mn 2+, Ni2+, Fe3+, (and Fe2+), Al3+, and Zn 2+) in a sulfide solution with a pH near neutrality.

b. The dissolving of FeS, ZnS, MnS, and Al(OH)3 with a strong acid.

c. The reaction of the fice cations with an excess of strong base.

d. the reactions of Fe3+ and Ni3+ with NH3.

e. The reactions of Al3+ and Zn2+ with NH3.




If all you can do is just give hints it would be appreciated. I do not understand how to do this at all. Any help would be really appreciated

A friend lives in LA, a friend lives in San Fran. They want to meet for a weekend (driving distance). What is a good destination somewhere in the middle? But not Santa Barbara b/c the weekend we want, al the hotels are completely booked. Looking for pretty town on the coast with outdoor activities (light bike riding), quaint restaurants, a nice hotel. Any suggestions?

According to the media, Cho was on antidepressents when he killed 32 people. This is not an isolated case. In japan for example, there are reports of children jumping off windows, committing suicide, killing, etc. and this is world wide.

Hi. This is a pretty basic question, sorry. But I'm 18 and it's the first time I've had to worry about tax returns/extensions. I am not claimed as a dependent by anyone. I know that a deduction doesn't function the same way as a credit. But does a deduction reduce the amount of my income that is taxable, or is it only used to determine which tax bracket you fall into? I am a full time college student, and I received $5000 in 2006 from a small trust fund. Given that the standard deduction is $5150, and the personal exemption is like $3300, I owe nothing, right? Is this true for the California state taxes also? Also, if I don't owe, then I don't need to file, do I? I assume I'm not getting a refund if I never actually paid anything. Could someone let me know if I'm right about all this? I thought I didn't need to file, but then someone told me otherwise, so I'm kind of panicking. I need to do an extension really quick if I was wrong. Thanks!
