i was planning on doing an engine swap to an s13...sr20det but i was wondering if i need a different differential or can i use the one i have? im gonna get 5-speed and truck is currently 5 speed 3.0 v6 1995

I don't think it'd make any difference.

Putting a turbocharged engine in a pick up? it will work as long as you also have the Silvia's transmission too. Lack of torque off the line is what you'll get. Making the drive shaft work should not be to hard. Differential will also work however you might want a front loaded differential and a new limited slip ring gear carrier. I would have picked a much lighter car to slip that motor into. Like a old datsun B-210 or 610

th one on the car should be fine as it is is for a v6 engine
