It was written by a man. A woman would have started it with "Well done" as the first part of the manual would be for mom!

It could be that the manufacturer realizes that the product is defective, and in a rare display of honesty, has decided that congratulations are NOT in order.
Also, the manual doesn't make sense. I have a better time with the badly translated instructions for cheap chinese pressboard furniture.

Interesting observation....compared that to what is offerred in Quran, after some forewards in the 1st chapter, then came these statements:
"This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;"
"Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;"
"And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter."

Actually the bible IS kinda written like an instruction manual thats been translated from Japanese, very crudely.
"Firmly grasping the gromet filter, with enthusastic turning the pressure enter into the firm socket, portion B"

Since it's mostly about self-flagellation, "congratulations!" would have set the wrong tone.
