I have had 6 tetra's (4 penguins and two neons) die in the past three days. All of my water conditions are good, and the fish do not show any indications of ich, fungus, worms etc.

The only noticeable issue is that the black line of the penguins seems to be less solid than usual, and the fish seem a little less active than usual, right before their death.

Other factors about my tank:

29 gallon with live plants

Population:
1 Plecostamus
2 corydorus
3 neons tetra(formerly 5)
5 rummy-nosed tetre
1 penguin tetra (formerly 5)
3 endlers livebearers
4 whiteclouds

...also recently a few snails have appeared in my tank, probably came with a new plant. Also there has recently been small amounts of black algae grrowing on one type of my plants.



Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Im printing off dot to dot pictures for a few 4 year olds. Was just wondering what would be appropriate for them?

How many numbers would they be able to cope with joining them up in a picture? Ive found one that has 6 numbers would this be ok or would it be too easy?

Its for part of a course im doing on child care so please answer seriously. thanks

I don't personally, but my three year old daughter is out of control. I've gotten suggestions that I should swat her to put her in line, but I don't think that's a soloution. I'd never dream of hurting my elfin princess.

Im trying to grow some vegetable but the cabbages, cauliflowers and broccoli have all become really long, thin and weak stemed and all just flop about on the top of the tray on the little greenhouse I brought. Any idea? or should I just start again and plant outside?

I got a new puppy (toy mini doberman) i adopted her from the animal shelter, i noticed one morning she was limping so i took her to get xrays, turns out she has a bone that is out of place, and now she needs an $800 surgery to get it fixed or else she won't be able to walk on it.

Fuel gauge was not registering and diagnostic could not find problem but mechanic installed the ELD sensor and this seemed to solve the problem with the fuel gauge although mechanic did not think there was anything wrong with fuel gauge. That problem was in February. This month I brought the car to dealer because of engine light. I was told to bring in car early in morning (6Am) because it will require more diagnostic work to determine why engine light stays on. They mentioned emission problem. I passed NY emissions Inspection a few weeks ago.

my husband has no time for me...too busy to have sex. i stopped seducing as it has proved waste of time. whats the use if he has sex with me when i initiate??i feel a man should come to his wife on his own...i cant seduce him all the time right? otherwise he is a good husband...loves me very much. mostly he goes to work in the night and comes back home in the morning very tired....is this causing lack of interest in him??

So I'm sure I'm gonna get lots of answers one way or another, but my question is how much to tip the delivery guy. I order pizza or chinese cause its a chill night, or I order it cause its a cheap night and don't feel like going out. I know all the arguments with- they don't get paid much, I can afford it. How has it that tipping the guy that delivers my food to my door deserves as much of a percentage as the guy who constantly caters to my every wish at a restaurant?
I know there are going to be answers like I make more than them (which by the way, is not my fault), or that this is their job. I'm just wondering how free delivery in this day and age has not really become free. Isn't a tip for an appreciation of a job well done? How has it become a job done mediocre? I guess I could then take this on to tipping at restaurants for horrid service, but that's for another day.

My basement flooded because of a terrible nor easter. I have a sump pump, but the water all around my basement isn't flowing towards it, and the only way to get some of the water out is to sweep water from one side of the room and put it in the pump. Is there any other way besides this to transfer the water from one side of the room to another?

I have found that when you test the god of the Mormon spirit, you get a lot of the same answers that I was getting 30 years ago. Very vague and very secretive. I know the saying," Some things are secret and some things are sacred." Christ never belonged to a secret society. He called the Pharisees ( the religious rulers of Israel) a den of vipers. So I will no longer test the spirit of the Mormon church on this web. It's a waste of time when you cannot get truthful answers from anyone who claims to be LDS and from those who have been instructed on how to avoid direct questions with little or no knowledge of thier faith. I know what happens when you leave the Mormon church, You are more afraid of your family and church than you are of hell itself. And I know they know this in the very deepest recesses of thier hearts. So goodbye and God bless.

I have a medium sized plant growing in the space that I plan on putting a flower bed...I thought at first it was just a weed but now it's started to flower, so I'm thinking there is a plant, flower, or bush of some type under the weed that has grown up the middle. Can anyone look at these pictures of the plant and flowers and see if they can figure out what type it is. I'd like to salvage it if it's not a weed.
