I believe in God and pray as well but I just feel so much closer to her because it feels like my daughter is with me

I do not think you should do this.
Satan/demons behave as ghosts and as the dead in order to confuse and lead us from God.
I'm sorry that you lost your daughter, but do not hang on to her through Satan's tools. You can pray for her and know that she is in the arms of Jesus. Know that God loves her even more then you do, and one day you'll be with her.

Just for the sake of clarity, your daughter is not the medium...you are.
It is not against God. Was it against God when, while your daughter was still in the physical, the two of you would say, "Good morning" to one another? Why should it be different now, just because she is no longer focused in physical reality?
"Against God" is a superstition, a mis-reading of sacred writing. Death is illusion; your daughter is more alive than she was in the physical. You know this more than I, since you and she still speak.
God is only love. We are part of God; we are only love.

that's not your daughter, that's a lying spirit. Think of it like this, Satan knew you, and your daughter also. So whatever you ask the medium to ask your daughter, the answer will be correct, matter of fact it will be precise because he knew the answer. God says don't do this, because He knew once you start tapping into mediums and spiritists, you open your self up for destruction! Spirits(evil ones)hate you. Contact a pastor of a word teaching, and believing church and tell him what you've been doing. Pray to God and ask for forgiviness for trying to go over what He's done. You could be in danger and Satan could be and probably is setting you up right now for failure.

Yes it is. Mediums are using Satan's power (without knowing it) to do their "magic", that's why they are condemned by God. The mediums are not communicating with the dead, but with lying evil spirits.

Well, ghosts are certainly Biblical. In 1st Samuel 28:7, the witch of Endor invoked the spirit of the prophet Samuel for King Saul. Saul was the one who banned witches, btw, not god. Granted, Saul didn't exactly get the answers he wanted...
In the New Testament, people thought Jesus was the reincarnation of John the Baptist. So at least that thought was there anyway.
Personally, more power to you if you have the means by which to commicate with your daughter. My heart goes out to you and quite frankly, if it gives you peace, why would god be angry with you?
In my tradition, our ancestors remain with us to help guide us and give us comfort. Don't see any reason why it's wrong for you to communicate with your daughter.

Exactly how do you communicate with her? Can you hear her voice, or is the psychic receiving the messages and then passing them on to you.
Do you have a husband? If so, how does he feel about this communication through a psychic?
How much do you have to pay to feel closer to your daughter?
Need more descriptive information.

Yes thats against God will.
"The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. God says that the dead know absolutely nothing!

what the girl said about the witch of endoer is correct about contacting the prophet samuel out of his rest for saul's sake. however, notice what the bible describes this woman,"WITCH." also if you keep reading the Lord rebukes saul for doing this thru the prophet samuel by requiring his natural life the next day for this treachery. stay away from it.
plus, if your daughter is in heaven under the blood of Jesus Christ it is impossible for anyone or witch to contact them. under the blood of bulls and goats they could but not the power of Jesus Christ's blood unto salvation. if she is contacting your daughter then that speaks that your daughter didn't go to heaven after all and I know that won't give you any peace at all knowing that.

No it isn't against 'god' at all. The reason the old religious writers condemned mediums is because they knew you'd get the truth of the afterlife from them, which is just a TAD different than what you've been led to believe.
