How often should i feed my herman tortoise?

The youngest is about 2 years old,3 inches long and weighs 98 grams.I currently feed them every other day with a sprinkling of nutrobal,and a cuttlefish is at hand.But i,ve noticed that his shell is getting lumpy(not too much)pyramiding.We grow all their weeds in the greenhouse,so as far as i know they are eating the right food.But am i over feeding them too much for the lumpy shell problem to happen.

What to do with condoms that are not needed...?

dont laugh i'm serious! i have a huge pile of condoms that i no longer need (they are well with in the use by date- most were purchased this year) and i was gonna throw them out but it seems like such a waste. Is there a 3rd world charity or something that could make use of them,

I have an itemized list from my insurance company from a theft at my home last year, what figures are needed?

I've done all the other calculations through turbotax, but the last question before filing, the dreaded itemized list of items stolen has me stymied. Do I have to list everything or is it possible to enter the amounts calculated by my insurance company (i.e., one lump sum amount)?

Autism.... why is it considered a "genetic" disease?

Why is autism genetic? What gene is responcible for this disease? Has that gene even been isolated? Does anyone know any good sites where I can find (reliable) published journals and articles on autism besides pubmed?

Internet and Microsoft Windows Piracy?

My friend Rachael recently bought a computer from a fly by night computer shop and she believes that the operating system on it, Windows XP Pro is pirated. I checked it and it definately appears to be so.

Is there anyway she can report it to Microsoft or something and get a legitimate version of Windows for free?

Why are so many Christians obese?

Isn't gluttony a sin...and if you refuse to exercies and lose weight, then you are not properly taking care of your, "temple of God"..you continue to live in sin...

Fundies always say, if someone refuses to turn from their sin they are going to hell...

So, what about you fat fundies...aren't you going to hell too?

Please don't tell me this is a medical condition...because quite honestly...if gays aren't born that way...neither are fat people...

Fat people choose what they put in their mouth just like gays do.

Are people who say they don't "see color/race" blind?

I've been reading some Q&A here where people say they don't see black, white, chinese, japanese, etc... What does that mean? Are we supposed to see everyone the same? Ignore culture? Reminds me of a McDonald slogan. "One world, one taste". Their goal is to have a cheeseburger taste the exact same no matter where in the world you buy it. I for one enjoy the differences. What's your thoughts on this? Do you see race or no? I don't know what's so bad about seeing race. People are different. Cultures are different. What's wrong with that?

How to effectively get rid of scars from spots? Help please!?

I'm really upset about frequently getting zits on my face and particularly the red scars that they leave. I'm a guy and I shave daily, which seems to aggravate some scars, causing them to swell and remain for months. Any suggestions on effective, cheap methods of getting rid of the scars? I don't really want to use any chemical peels, or anything extreme. Thanks!

If there IS such a law stating we MUST pay income taxes - WHERE IS IT DOCUMENTED?

And WHY would the "Save A Patriot" be offering a $10,000.00 dollar reward for anyone who can provide such documentation? I mean think about it, if there REALLY was something concrete to show us, wouldn't that it would be just a little too easy? And why hasn't anyone provided such proof when asked for it? THERE IS NOTHING DOCUMENTED ANYWHERE, IN ANY BOOK OR LAWS DOCUMENTED THAT THERE IS SUCH A LAW!!!!!! Anybody seen the movie called "America - Freedom to Facism"? I highly recommend that EVERYBODY get ahold of it & watch it!!!
