My 7 year old daughter has the stomach flu and an absessed tooth. I have no way of getting to the store to get her any gingerale to calm her tummy. I was wondering if anyone on here has some home remedies that you could share with me to help her feel better? She is throwing up and has the potty runs. I would appreciate any help you have to offer us.

The past 2-3 weeks I had this sudden onset of confusion, dizziness, chest pains, shortness of breath. I went to the ER on Feb 6th and they diagonsed me with dyspnea. The EKG, chest x-ray, CBC tests, urine tests came back normal. I feel like they are missing something...I just started spitting up blood a few days ago and it seems to be worse when I wake up. It is not from my gums or anything inside my mouth. Could this be GERD-related? Should I go back to the ER?

...as most old school martial arts / chop socky film fan well know, the background music of many of the classic martial arts films from the 70's & early 80's, is borrowed from other films (especially American films), or synthesizer instrumentals. I am looking for the title of a piece of music from Jackie Chan's classic film, "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow". Remember the scene where the old master, whom Jackie's character was kind to, left him a book with some martial arts teachings? Then he goes out to a stone court area, in the back of his house, and finds the foot steps for a kung fu routine, marked off in chalk? And as Jackie's character attempts to practice the moves in the book and the chalk markings, the background music is a piece of synthesizer music written by the Euro-synthesizer rock group Tangerine Dream, which I had heard before.....but to this day, cannot remember the title. Rather than drastically buying the entire TD library, perhaps someone out there can help!!!!!!

Ok, so this girl I am REALLY interested in and I have gone out socially (like at a club with friends) a couple of times.

Went out last week, danced with each other for a couple of hours. It was great, and it wasn't like she was going out and dancing with other guys, just me.

The other night, I meet my buddy, and this girl out at a club. It was my friend, his girlfriend, and this girl. This girl and I once again had a great night of dancing together and the vibe is definitely there.

I take her home. I figured I would just drop them off and be on my way until the next time we meet. She asks if i want to come upstairs. I say yes. We get up, and she immediately asks if I want to stay. I say yes. Nothing sexual, just spent the night and slept closely, talked...all of that. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and said thanks for letting me stay. We talked on the phone for a little bit that night. So where do you see this thing currently at? with how quick it's moving.

Some say that pacifiers can relax babies too much and they need to learn comfort themselves and learn to deal with natural stresses. How true do you belive this to be.

I just cant find the right method to get this...

If youre told that 2 forces will give a resultant force and you know the magnitude of only one of the 2 forces, the angle between that force and the resulting force, and the magnitude of the resulting force how do you find the other force????
Heres the exact question:
the force P has magnitude 5N and acts due north. The resultant P+Q has manitude 9N and acts in the direction 060 degrees.Calculate the magnitude and direction of Q...

BDW, The resultant force is not equal to P + Q

answers should be: sqrt 61 Neutons...and 093.7 degrees (ie from North)

Help! Im studying and just cant get this one

A cell, is a factory man! Your body has millions and millions of parts that all do a specific function necessary for survival. That's much more complicated than a car, yet if you ran across one in the woods you'd have no doubt it wasn't a plant.

If we evolved, how did we get from a multi-celled glob of goo to a more complicated organism where cells all work together? You need a circulatory system for that, I guess that evolved too...but wait, for that to work you need a heart or something to move the blood (which also had to evolve of course)...but wait, you also need a stomach, including juices, for digestion along with the bowels, and kidneys or the like to clean the blood and a waste system to get rid of the waste. Hmmm....
