Based on his ratings, Don Imus didn't speak for any significant part of the population, yet Al and Jesse have decided that Imus's remarks represent the "state" of "race relations" in America.
But no one appointed Al or Jesse as "black leaders."
Of course, Al doesn't consider Condeleeza Rice, Colin Powell, or Clarence Thomas as "black leaders" either.
The self-appointed appointing the non-appointed, and everyone debating a non-issue. Un-freakin-believable.
