When you are hearbroken pain and other sicknesses can affect you. I even tested for liver desease once after a horrible break up of a 8 year marriage. Of course after two years of testing my liver showed no more signs of trouble, so my doctor said it was probably stress related due to my painful breakup.
I heard a rule that for every year you were involved you should give yourself 2mo. to recover. So if this was a short relationship, you will be fine alot quicker. But your pains are very real and nurse them, but don't over eat, don't make your self fat because of someone else, infact redirect it into something else, exercise or get a hobby. Some of the worlds greatest artworks were produced while the artist was suffering a great loss. You will be fine after some time.

no, not for me. when i'm heartbroken, or in other words, depressed. i have the tendency to eat and eat and eat. it's like a sense of satisfaction, that food gives me...lol, more like sweets. so you can say that snacking when i'm depressed makes me feel good in a way. so to answer your question, no my tummy doesn't hurt when i'm heartbroken and even after eating, it still doesn't hurt. as long as i don't over eat, which would make me feel bad about myself. 'cause i'll know i'll have to now deal with all of the extra calories i just downed...lol.

I guess so. Well, some people when heart broken they tend to go through depression. So they tend to pass out on meals, sleepless hours, not concentrating, etc. So some do, some don't. Peace!

Yeah, your stomach could hurt. The strong emotions of a breakup can cause your stomach to feel queasy and could also make you lose your apetite. In addition, your sleep pattern could be disturbed as well.
