What i don't understand is he is REVEREND AL Sharpton, but i can't remember the last time he preached tolerance, grace, forgiveness or love? I think he is an insult to the office of Reverend, and should drop the title if he isn't going to behave as a man of God should do. At one end of the spectrum you have Sharpton, the other end Imus - in between ordinary people of all colors and race trying to day by day live and coexist. We should get rid of ALL extremists and start looking for positive ways to lives as human beings and stop behaving like animals.
Sharpton and Imus share the same deplorable record of bigotry, racism, and stupid comments.

OH HELL YEAH. I want that dude to just disappear. He just sits by his phone and waits to pounce on the next white dude to screw up. That is racist in nature, and he needs to be stripped of his duties. If there was a white dude that does what he does, he would be a racist, no? Double standard. He needs to be made an example of here. But noooooo, he's all about "civil rights" and therefore he's exempt from being wrong, because he's looking out for the rights of those in need. He's in need of a reality check, and I think he needs to be banned from the big networks. Why not, he's not credible, he's shooting off his mouth before anything is proof. If the media did this on Kobe, oh man, could you imagine. America needs help.

i imagine Sharpton's remark following the assembly demonstrates the double customary we see in on the instantaneous's society. He suggested "it really is not any longer about taking Imus down, it really is about lifting decency up." How can he have the gall to assert that? Did he have the decency, as Imus did, to ask for forgiveness at the same time as he replaced into incorrect? for instance, has he apologized to the Duke lacrosse gamers? Has he apologized to Pagones (from the Tawana Brawley case contained in the late 80s)? Has Sharpton ever apologized for his remark about white cracker interlopers? No - he would not want to ask for forgiveness - because that he's not any longer a whitey. it really is okay for him to do some thing he needs because that probably one among his kinfolk from one hundred fifty years in the past replaced right into a slave. And the position is the decency in rap and hip hop? That type of song espouses a lot extra degrading language than Imus'. at the same time as will he condemn those songs and get in contact with for them to be taken off of the radio? No - because maximum aren't from now on sung by technique of whiteys. And it really is okay because there is an chance that one hundred fifty years in the past one among his kinfolk replaced right into a slave. and that i guess I should not be commenting because i'm a whitey . Which I in basic terms realized i replaced into. said it on a black blog (betcha i ought to get in truly some hassle for putting out a whitey blog).

Hi Cuddles....I'm still waiting for him to apoligize for the TAWANA BRAWLEY fiasco when she accused a white police officer of raping her....it was a lie but Sharpton ruined the policeman's career and reputation and never apoligized for it.....everytime there's an innocent involving a black person....
Apparently it's OK for a black stripper to accuse 3 white Duke university students of rape which was a lie....Her name is Crystal Gail Mangum. LIAR...I'm sure Al was defending her too....
Sharpton is a big racist.....worse than Imus could ever be.
Jessie "CHILD OUT OF WEDLOCK" is another one.....they are not role models for the black community.....

Al Sharpton is a racist weasel. His hate speech is divisive and, in my opinion, not worthy of listening to. However, I don't believe we need to stoop to his level. Free speech attaches even to the likes of Sharpton. Boycott his sponsors and if you do listen to his "show" be sure to write to the station and FCC with specific complaints of how he misuses the public air waves.

No, I wold not support a move to get him fired because I don't think either he or Imus should be fired for what they say.
I think they should both be fired because their shows suck and are basically unlistenable. But I have no issue or concern with the content of their speech.

Yes, it's all very contradictory and hypocritical of him. He needs to practice what he preaches (literally) and he also needs to apologize to a great number of people himself.
