Late noted historian Barbara Tuchman, in "The March of Folly, From Troy to Vietnam", documents that governments have a long record of acting self-destructively and foolishly, despite warnings by other people in their own times, and sometimes even the promptings of their own common sense. The Renaissance popes, for example, neglected the Church so badly that they inspired the Protestant Reformation, the Trojans (according to legend at least) accepted the gift of a big wooden horse full of enemy troops, and Montezuma, despite warnings of advisers, let a small force of Spaniards overwhelm the vast and aggressive Aztec empire. She said that folly existed when they knew (or should have known) better based on information and warnings available at that time. She also thought the British were foolish to risk the loss of the American colonies. (If hindsight could be converted into foresight, I could retire on lottery winnings!)

I mean, we are all aware of the hypocrisy of Black people when it comes to speaking these words (and worse) amongst themselves, and remaining conspicuously silent when a Black entertainer says something similar. Why else would Blacks be outraged if not to get one over on whitey?

A previous asker stated a question featured on the game show "Jeopardy" identified the JW "New World Translation" as the most accurate translation of the Bible available.

Here's the question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070412085046AAUiYKb&r=w#RpB4XDDuUDK4_abXlFlErU78Hg1GAk2JXzpQA5LJaFkSMUK1CnxW

However, the "Jeopardy" message board seems to disprove this assertion:

Just in case these Jeopardy geeks are wrong, can anyone provide a web page to back up the asker's dubious claim?

I believe its a good thing to treat a woman well and do things for her like open the door. But I don't like the entitlement feeling women often get from it as I believe its a two way street- you treat her well and she treats you well in return. In addition to all the things men should do for women, what are some things women can do for men?
