Not really. Intel based Macs have a security chip built into them. The OS checks to make sure the chip is there and won't run otherwise. There are hacks and emulators to work around this, but they're illegal so they get shut down by Apple and are pretty primitive. Even if you get the OS installed, there will be a nightmare due to lack of hardware drivers and support. You might do okay if you're someone who writes his own device drivers for fun, but otherwise you'll hate every painful second of the experience.

You can try installing Darwin, which is similar. But basically, if you want the Mac OS, you need to buy a Mac. The Mac Mini starts at only $600 and is affordable.

Using an Apple-designed installer, you can't install Mac OS X on a DOS/FAT32 or NTFS partition. It needs either a UFS (Unix file system) or HFS+ (hierarchal file system plus) format. This means you are almost sure to devote a hard drive to just Mac OS X with no Windows version on it. It could be a second drive in the computer, of course, with whatever you want on the other hard drive.

Using a hacked installer and a hacked disk image of the software components (downloaded by torrent process) , anything could be possible. You'll need to follow the advice of the developer (hacker). Follow the link below.

It is possible to install Mac OS X on some, but not all, Intel X86 ("PC") computers. Some people have had success with the Dell Dimension 4600. To choose the correct system (or build it yourself), you must follow certain guidelines. You can only install and expect good performance if the processor and chipset are top quality so follow the link below for more info. There's just one part of it I don't fully believe: "This hardware can be obtained for around $100." Yeah, right.

That all depends on what you want to happen... It IS possible to install a Mac OS onto a Windows PC. However, it WILL NOT work well at all. As far as the dual boot is concerned, I've never tried it. I doubt it would work.
