Does every one feels anoyed these days with what's going on in Iraq? Now they bombed the Iraqi Parliament. I think that is gone to far. What can we do to reverse this.

I understand companies preferring less experienced and less expensive hirees. And I understand these firms ae looking to avoid discrimination charges. I just want to find a way to save time for myself and them so we can cut to the chase and find a place that appreciates what I (we) can do.
Forbes Magazine had an interesting piece about the search for older workers with an old-fashioned work ethic. But, in retrospect, it seems as tied to reality as a Reader's Digest article.
Any ideas?

I'm currently an undergrad majoring in Chemistry and English. The university I'm at, while a tier one school, is very focused on science and technology. The humanities departments are small tend to get the shaft.

What I'm really interested in is History and Philosophy of Science, but unlike most of the other places I applied my school doesn't offer that as a major. The philosophy department focuses almost entirely on logic, and the history deaprtment is mostly geared toward poli-sci. The English department, on the other hand, has quite a few faculty who have done work in science and literature. Because an English major would allow me to do the most coursework in science and culture, that's what I chose.

I've seen a few places that offer graduate studies in History and Philosophy of science. Could I still enter that field with my English/Science background, or would I be restricted to just English or Chemistry?

...or stupid comments?? Im absolutely serious when I ask this:

Ive been watching the nature series "Planet Earth" on the Discovery channel. Absolutely stunning video showing the immense beauty of our world. I can certainly understand why people look at that beauty and see an intelligence behind it. While I do not agree with creationism or intelligent design, I can certainly understand how the beauty and awe we see around us might lead others to think it was created...

However, I wonder - when you watch nature shows and see a lion brutally maul a baby antelope, or see a polar bear attempt to attack a walrus but instead get his butt whopped and then it dies from starvation - right there amongst the very walruses he was trying to eat.... Do you see God in that? Do you see intelligence or beauty in the "design" of brutal killing in order to survive???

I really wonder about that...

I'm trying to get a gauge of how "normal" the sexual relationship with my wife of 11 years is - I suspect we have grossly mismatched sex drives but I'm beginning to wonder if my expectations are set too high?

Just wake up and realise your ambitions (for that day anyway) and feel all motivated and ready to start the new life awaiting, until you wake up again next day and either; think what did i want to do that for, not feel bothered to do anything or have a completely new life changing plan? I do this alot, do you?

Everytime a question about a religious view of a women's role question comes up there's always one woman (usually a Christian or Muslim) who responds that women who work outside the home don't care about their families or are afraid to take on the role of housewife and mom... why is that?

Phone poles apear to either be treated with a chemical or even fired at their base but at the top they apear to be lighter in color and spliting from the weather. Do they treat the bottom do prevent it from rotting in the wet earth and neglet the top to make it lighter for stability? If so how are they treated? If not is it just that through time the poles natural juices seep to the bottom of the pole leaving the bottom looking darker and the top looking paler.

I have never ridden a Motorcycle before, and as I should, I am taking a BRC to learn the ropes to riding a motorcycle. I have driven mopeds before, so I do kind of know what to expect as far as riding goes.

I want to get a bike, so have have been looking around and I recently sat on the HD Sportster, which would be a great first bike, except for the fact that I felt very cramped and oversized for the bike. I have looked at the HD Street Bob or Fat Boy as a first, but my concerns are cost and size.

I don't want to buy a bike that is inexpensive, but too small for me that I will outgrow quickly, but I also don't want to spend a lot on one that is the right size either. I have only looked at Harley's because I like the image it protrays, and I also like the look of the Street Bob and Fat Boy, but is there something else out there (other Harley's or non-Harley's) that may be similar in size accomodation for me, but less expensive and as just as nice looking to consider?

Pls Hlp

I'm trying to set up a relationship b/c later in the story she has to choose between saving her father or saving her troops. And I want to make a good relationship, so the readers know that she is struggleing and stuff.

So I have her kiss him, is it realistic?
