I wrote one from the perspective of a tree, when I was sitting under it on a glorious day in spring. I told how my little weight pushed down on the roots and how it covered me from the bright sun while letting the cooling breeze hit me. It was rhymed and was entire an extended metaphor for the protection some give us in life, and also strongly used personification and simile.
