How often do you have sex with your partner and how long have you been together?

I'm trying to get a gauge of how "normal" the sexual relationship with my wife of 11 years is - I suspect we have grossly mismatched sex drives but I'm beginning to wonder if my expectations are set too high?

I am literally open-mouthed reading through the responses I have so far! It seems I drew the short straw in choosing my partner. A very good MONTH (not week) for me is 4 times!!! Surely this ain't right at all??? Damn

let me tell you i have been with my man 3 yrs and i am lucky to get it once a month i can't figure it out no matter how hard i try he turns me down says hes not in the mood if you figure it out let me know..good luck

Not enough! Maybe twice a week. I feel my hubby & I are mismatched sexually too. I have a much higher drive than him. I am almost 37 & he is almost 48. To me, I'd be happy with sex at least 6 times a week not including those quickies in the middle of day. Sex is just a good thing and can ease the stresses of life and bring 2 closer.

Married 11 years as well.

I could have sex every day, 3-4 times on a weekend.

My wife can easily go 6 weeks or more without and not blink, I tested this one time by completely leaving her alone. She barely noticed and I was going completely insane.

My wife thinks something is wrong with me, and thinks she's perfectly normal and after being married so long I shouldn't care about sex.

Well, my husband and I have different work schedules, so we can only do it when the time allows us too. (We also have 2 children ages 6 and 3, so when they're awake, that's totally out of the question.) I'd say on average, we get to have it about 2-3 times a week. I try to avoid it b/c it's a lot messier for the girl, but my husband would have sex about 3-4 times a day if I could hang w/ him! Ugh! Talk about soreness!!!

After 22 years it's gone from 5 -7 times a week to more like 1-3 times a week. I don't think there really is a normal amount of times, it all depends on each individual.
