It wasn't one of those that says you won then when you open it you might be a winner. It was a plain envelope the stationary had a letter head. The number to call was canadian. I called they sounded legit. They had me contact another number and thats where I got suspicous. I couldn't find much about the company on the net they had a website but it seemed kinda small for a bank. So I searched the names of the people to contact. One matched the name of a guy to an internet scam. I'm like ook. I know internet fraud, but I've never heard of them taking it as far as to go through your mail. It seems like too much for a scam. Has this happend to anyone else? What do you think?

At the beginning of the Bush administration, we went to war in Afghanistan, then Iraq and now we find ourselves entangled with threats from Iran and North Korea. A recent news article mentioned that the government is again calling on the National Guard for deployment, because of insufficiet troop levels. We're spending billions of dollars a week. Who knows if there will be threats from other countries in the near future. How much longer can we keep this up? By sending all of our resources overseas, we may not be able to protect our homeland in a time of crisis. How many of us are willing for higher taxes or re-instituting the draft? How necessary is our involvement in all of these countries? What is your opinion of this quandry?

In Ephesians 2:8, 9 and Titus 3:5 (among other verses), the Lord tells us that we CANNOT be saved by ANY works that we do! But all that God commands us to do are "works" we do.

God commands that we should obey His word (1 Peter 4:17).
Yet, God commands us in His word to repent (Acts 17:30).
John the Baptist gave God's word that men should believe (Mark 1:15).
Jesus said that to love God is the first commandment (Mark 12:30).

In Romans 3:19, 20 we read, "Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them that are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

This is a very difficult question and requires one to search the Scriptures.

How can you show that the center of a Symmetric group (Sn) consists of only the identity, given n>2.

If Not why and what circumstances would you cheat if it came to that?

For me I am not a cheater cause I find no reason to be hurtful to someone I care about even if the temptation is great. Plus I would treat people as I expect to be treated! At this point I haven't found any "excuse" to cheat.

My current boyfriend has an ex who will not go away. He has not been in any sort of contact with her since Dec. 2005, when we met. She lives a state away, so at least she is not showing up at our house. All of her harassment is done on-line. When we first started dating she would send him really nasty emails, ie - she was going to report their dog as stolen to the police (which she let him have when they split). She's said she will committ fraud with his information 9she said she had an old copy of his social security card).... sometimes she will just send random emails about what is going on in her life. He has never responded, not once. She'll beg him to contact her because her mom "is on the verge of dying and she's so sad." He washed his hands of her 2 years ago when he came back to their house once day and there were a bunch of used condoms in the trash.She has even hooked up with a new guy and is getting married. What can I legally do? We just want her to go away, FOOR GOOD!
