Is it better to love and lost it or never to have loved at all?????

Is the hurt you experience when losing somebody you love,worth risking not ever taking a chance on Love?

You should always take a chance on love. I mean you will never know what you have missed out on until you have
seen and lived it first hand. Love can be great and no relationship is void of hard times and disapointment. Really the saying is a good one to think of but I would not wrap my whole life around a verse like that. Really you never know what any relationship may bring you so why just give up on a life of happiness. You must realize that every you love someone there is a chance of getting hurt but if you live your life without love then what do you have a cold heart and life of hate and misery.

Yes it is better to love and lose it then to never love at all. The hurt you experience is worth risking a chance on love. It's all a learning experience and we become who we are after all life's lessons.

The fellow who said this obviously never experienced the loss of someone you loved very much. If so then he's a better man than I am. I find it hard to be cheery and make a flippant remark like that.

Defiantly -it would be a shame to go through life without ever loving at all being in love is the best feeling you never feel more alive then when you're falling in love it would be a shame to never feel that

No. Protect yourself. People who say that say because they need an explanation for the inexplanable. Really, I would prefer never to have loved my ex. All that hurt was too much to get over and it changed me for the worse.

I agree, emotional hurt is far more than physical one but if you keep fearing you won't get along. To get something good, you have to pass through bad ones and if indeed you get good in the first instance, that's your luck.
