Save your $ and see a dermatologist.

A prescription for Retin-A or something similar would be the best thing. Retin-A promotes cell turnover & collagen production.

Just be sure to wear sunscreen every day & use a mild cleanser followed by moisturizer.

it depends on the manufacturer. don't trust any abrasive cream that is sold under the name of a microdermabrasion cream. micro crystals have very specific features and so do all the other calming and replenishing ingredients of a good microderma cream. check those drugstore brands online and see what others feel about the product. if no one mentions it, then don;t try it, you put your skin at high risk of additional scarring, hypo pigmentation problems, irritations and acne breakouts.
professional microderma is very effective in reducing acne scars and many of the at-home kit do a nice job too.
hope this helps.
