evenly here means perfectly. So, any number that can be divided by 2, 3, 4, and 5 without giving a remainder but gives a remainder with 9.

I'm not sure which "following numbers" you're talking about. Numbers that are evenly divisible by 2,3,4 and 5, and not 9 will be in the form 60*x, where x is an integer not divisible by 3. "Evenly" means that when you divide the numbers, the quotient is an integer.

If a is evenly divisible by b, it means b goes into
a without remainder.
As an example, 120 is evenly divisible by
2, 3, 4 and 5 since all go into it without
remainder. Really, just divisible would suffice here.
120 is not divisible by 9.

"evenly" means you get an integer with NO REMAINDER

8 is "evenly" divisible by 2 because 8/2 = 4
9 is NOT "evenly" divisible by 2 because 9/2 = 4 1/2.

Think about it this way...When you talk about dividing money between you and your friends, you want to divide it EVENLY among each of you. (Meaning, each one of you gets the same amount.) It has nothing to do with the actual amount being even or odd.

In this context "evenly" is a useless and confusing-for-no-good-reason word which means "without remainder". Nothing to do with even (as opposed to odd) numbers.

Just slap some Liquid Paper on the offending word and solve away.
