Since I was born my average body temperature has been 96.2 (2 degrees lower than average).
However, a couple of days ago I started having trouble breathing. I took my temp and it was around 96.8 (which is pretty normal for me). After more problems my husband dragged me to the hospital where my temp was 96.7.
They found absolutely nothing wrong with me and sent me home and the next day my temp was down to 94.3 (according to research, that's moderate hypothermia). I called my doctor who had no ideas other than to do everything to keep my temp over 95.
It's been a day and I'm struggling to do such. Even after a hot bath, loads of hot tea and blankets and sweaters I'm just staying at 97 and I feel like I'm overheating. However, if I stop TRYING to maintain a high temperature I drop to the low 90s again.
I still have a little labored breathing from time to time, but otherwise feel perfectly healthy.
My doctor has no ideas except waiting. Should I be worried? Should I get a second opinion

I've been to the docs this morning cos I'm struggling to keep food down including water. He's given me some anti sickness pills I am worried about taking them to be honest but I need to have something to help me eat. He's also suggested drinking isotonic drinks.

I've just spoken to my midwife and she said she'd rather I didn't take any tablets but I can be dehydrated cos that would be worse. She double checked with another doctor who said these pills are safe to take.

Anyone else been here?

15 days ago I sent a letter to a former professor of mine in California. I live in Michigan. Since I used an outdated directory, I got delivery confirmation to see if the letter arrived. I sent it Priority Mail, and it was supposed to arrive in 2-3 days, but there is still no word on the letter. I have since discovered that the address was wrong and that I didn't address the letter to his legal name. Even so, I didn't get the letter back. I don't want to look like a psychostalker and keep sending stuff, but I have a feeling the first one is never going to get there. Given the address issues and the time that's passed, what are the chances that it arrived? Should I send someting to the current address?

I have been going through the Religion section voting for answers, and I find the section dominated by Christians answering the questions as if there could be no perspective for the answer other than the Christian perspective. Forinstance, a few people have asked questions about why there are so many religions. I am Pagan, and like many Pagans I have studied many religions, and so I know that this question can easily be answered by quoting the Buddha, "There are as many paths to the one as there are lives of men." However, none of the Christians answering the question seemed to be able to look at the question from a theological perspective other than their own. This is just one example out of many to be found in the religion section.

Is there some taboo in Christianity against studying other religions? Or a taboo against understanding other religious perspectives?

I don't want to think of Christians as close minded and ignorant, but that is the perception from what I'm reading here.

I worked for this construction man who run his own business. He paid for the work I done by house, or per square foot with either cash or check. I worked for him about 2 months. Eventhough he didn't pay me everything that I worked for, I asked him that he will claim the money for tax, and he say no. I want to claim these money and file tax. Can I do so, if yes, can i file it without form 1099-MISC? AND what schedule or form i need to claim this income?

That doesn't use the metric system? I remember back in the 70's there was a move to get the U.S. in line with the rest of the world regarding measurements.
Why have we not converted?

Hi,
I've had all sorts of problems with my hard drive, i was advised to restore the system after an error message that said UNCOUNTABLE_BOOT VOLUME but this restore failed halfway through and now it says that there's no operating system! I've tried operating systems such as Ubuntu but this just shows up problems with the hard drive and file systems can't be created. What do i need to do, is it a question of reformatting? do i need to purchase something new, as you can probably tell my knowledge and this subject is somewhat limited. ANy answers would be greatly appreciated!
