One of the many reasons is that mankind has not realized yet that "The earth is one country and mankind it's citizen."
A shift of paradigm has to happen in many areas of our thought.

War is like a bloodline, there are people who want war because they only care for themselves, war as a form of retribution for a injustice in the past, war for territory or wealth, war for love or hate. It is in our blood, our way of life, if we didn't have wars the world would be overpopulated. But if an outsider (a.k.a. an alien race) were to start a war, that would surely unite all earth nations.

I think we have wars because it allows people the opportunity to experience killing another human without incurring the extreme Karma that they otherwise would accrue.
We experience killing for the same reason we experience everything else; to learn, to evolve into better beings through multiple incarnations..

...Someone told me, when 2 parties doesn't agree with each other, wars happened.
i was in some really bad time wondering about this question awhile back, feeing terribly desperate and helpless, but wonder why i left me.
Discriminations.Fear.Hate...these kinda leads to war.

we have wars because countrys are not willing to sort things out diplomaticaly and because of hate. it is mostly because people want more than there fair share and get greedy. war is a disease

If we don't control resources, we'll die.
Unless the world unites under one totalitarian regime that distributes resources equally, there will always be war.

we have war out of fear, greed or they have something we want ad don't have. we fear terror so we kill first. we want the land so will kill all. we have wars to feed this fear and greed
