When I was in elementary school we went to the zoo. And in the petting zoo are there were peacocks (who the heck would want to pet a peacock). We walked by them and then one kept following us. I was scared so I walked away from the group to my mom. Then it started following me. And it did that thing that they do when they get mad. So I was freaking out and yea. It was very tramatic.

Don't be scared - they're pretty harmless and don't have a bad bite (I work in a zoo). Usually, they don't want you to touch them, so I doubt you'd be attacked, unless you had food all over you. A parrot, on the other hand . . . don't tease them or try to pet them (unless they're your own, of course). Oh, and we let them run free because they're pretty content to roost all over the zoo as long as their food supply is constant and they would fly out of most outdoor enclosures anyway.

I stood at the gorilla display one year and kept flipping him the middle finger trying to train him. All he ever did was hurl on the glass and lick it off.
