My oldest brother is married to a real temperamental woman. I have no personal problem with her but at the same time I realize she has some serious personality issues. She is also on antidepressants for her depression and anger. He won't buck her when she is being mean; only walks away and goes into his own little world to ignore the problem. Well, now she has asked for a divorce. He says its comfortable and he doesn't want to go through a divorce. It's as if he has forgotten what it feels like to be happy. And he is such a wonderful, funny, optimistic person... but not anymore. It's his cross to bear he says. I can't stand seeing him so miserable. Any words of wisdom I could give him?

This person had applied for a job at my company, along with hundreds of other potential employees. She had called and was checking on the status of her application. I told her that we have stopped hiring. She said, " Well, I didn't get an interview. I put in an application and I didn't even get a chance to interview. I feel like I am entitled to an interview."

Hello All!
I was hoping you could resolve a little disagreement for me. I own a 1971 ford LTD. It has a 351 engine and needs a paint job and new carborater. All of the crome has been taken off and is stored in the trunk. It is a two door with black interior, the orignial color is mint green. Its a great project car that would take minimum effort to refinish. My dad thinks its worth about $2500 to $2200, I disagree. What would you guys pay for a car like this??? I want it out of my life but its not selling at my dads price.

i was watching a movie last nyt about these girls that were being brought up in this convent (you know how back in the day if you had a baby or something your parents would send you away to a convent and the baby would be given up for adoption)...well anyway, it got me to thinking that i've just never encountered a 'nice' nun. isn't that how they are supposed to be? why are they so bitter then?

My sister has a caviliar king charles, but it turns its nose up at all different varietys of dog food. The only thing that he does eat is cat food, but that is only very rare (a little bit every day or so). There is also a cat in the holsehold, so i guess its just copying her! Especially as he sits at the back door miowing, and he lays on the back of the sofas as the cat does,
Is this something to worry about, or can we continue to feed him the food that is intended for cats?
Human food is his favourite though, and we know that overall that can definately do him more harm than good.
We are just so worried about him!!

Any tips and advice would be very much appreciated.

I have been married for two years. He has two children from a previous marriage. I love his children, but because of the evil things his ex says to them about me, they resent me and treat me like crap. They have even said they wished I would die and that they hate me. Is this typical? What should I do? I need help since I feel lost. Being a step mom is very hard it would be nice to hear how to deal with such a bad situation.

this was a recent answer about whether it was necessary or not for jesus to sacrifice himself:

Remember that jesus is god.
God was showing that he loved and forgave us by sacrificing himself.
We didn't sacrifice anything to be forgiven ....god did.
Remember that hanging on a cross isn't a good way to die.

If jesus is god why would he sacrifice himself to himself? how is that going to help anything?

A little back round first though. About 2 months ago my husband told me a girl at work asked him out, he told her he was married. I found a note in his car from this girl telling him he should go out on Saturday. My husband said he was going to through away the note, and just forgot. He just got it the morning I found it. (it had a date on it) He said he didn't even think to tell me because he didn't even think of going, and he told this girl that. (we don't go out much)

I dont wanna be one of those women who miss the signs that her husbands cheating, and I honestly dont think he ever would, but ..... its not like a cheater would just come right out and say "hey im a cheater"

I guess I would just like some other opinions

Ok my daily driver is a 1993 Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4. It has 293,000 miles. My oil pressure is fine when I start it but after about 10 minutes it runs very low. I am going to replace the pump simply because, even though it might not be the main problem, I know it probably needs it anyway. Any suggestions would be great. Do I just need to remove the oil pan, or is there more to it? Thanks

I am upgrading to a 29 gallon tank. In my 10 gallon, I have 1 female betta, 1 silver angelfish(about 3 inches tall), and two gourami's.

If I move the angel and the two gourami's into a 29 gallon tank (after its properly cycled), then what other fish can I keep in there? I was planning on getting some more Angel's, but Im not sure how they will react with the one I have already. And I also like the look of African Chicilids, but are they too vicious?

Btw- I am keeping the 10 gallon for the female betta, and plan to add about 4 or 5 more female's to that tank. Is this a good idea?
