is the bible in danger of becoming obsolete, or irrelevant?

A generation ago, it was deemed irrefutable, and undeniable. Today, its facing an inspection and examination, on a scale virtually unthinkable amongst past generations.
Is faith and conviction, robust and sturdy enough to hold christianity together,..... because more and more people are utilizing objective bible examination, than ever before.

Faith and trust seems to be losing ground to consideration and assessment.

This evening I went to turn the surrond sound off on my entertainment center, and I must have had static electricity built up because it zapped the surrond sound system. It still turns on and opens the DVD/CD drawer, but it won't play or anything, is there a way to fix it or we going to have to buy a new surrond sound system?

A few weeks ago, my car was leaking antifreeze. I used stop leak and it stopped leaking. The other day, someone flagged me down while driving to tell me that water was leaking out the back of my car. I stopped at a gas station to check my radiator, and I could see antifreeze in the radiator and the plastic bottle that you put water in was over-full. I started to put water in the radiator because I didn't know what else TO do, and a guy walked up to me and started talking to me. He said that it sounds like I have a "cracked head". He said it would be very expensive to fix. I don't have another car to drive, OR the money to fix it right now. The temp is about 210...what is considered HOT? Does it have to be in the red area to be considered hot or is it hot before then? Can I still drive this car and just keep putting in water and/or antifreeze until I can afford to fix it?

I've been through it 7 times and never found it. But I did find this:

Sounds like god likes kid killing over free-willing

My friend [a boy] told me that his cousin [a girl] and my boyfriend were supposably talking a few weeks ago. He told me that my boyfriend was over his cousin house and he said that my boyfriend was about to kiss her but she moved back.

I want to confront my bf about this...i know he's going to ask where did i get this from because im going to ask....[ do u know {her name??} ]. plus he might go back and ask her do u know any body that goes to our school.

a. Find the equation of the hyperbola on which the ship is located? (What value does the difference of the distance from the ship to each station give you? (2a is supposed to be the difference)

b. Find the exact coordinates of the ship if it is 60 miles from shore.

He is addicted to meth and gets really crazy. He has ADHD too. He has guns. He's had trouble with the law many times. I am worried about my two little grandchildren. My daughter keeps hoping he will just get better. She focuses more on him than the kids. We know he won't get better any time soon. Should I make a report to a family services agency? The children have shown signs of abuse. CPS has already visited them. Would they do anything with this additional information, and would my daughter have the children taken away? I can't just watch and wait while this damage is being done. What else can grandparents do?

My boyfriend and i dated 2 years ago for a very short time but we got to know each other pretty well. We lost contact but started talking again in Jan of this year. He came home for a break not too long after that. We decided about mid feb to begin dating again. He asked me to marry him and i said yes! When he gets home we plan on getting an apt together. My question is am i too young to be getting married and moving out or am i just the right age? I feel i'm at about the right age but i've been hearing different. Most of my friends and married and on their own. I kinda feel im farther behind then they are in that dept. I love him with all my heart and i honestly think that we'll make it in the long run. How do i know i'm making the right choice when there are no gaurentee's in life?

However, by the Freedom of Information Act could the American people have access to the actual reason that the Bush Administration put the Kurds in power in Iraq and not the real Iraqi people, or if the Administration was actually behind starting the civil strife in Iraq? My wife Jennifer and I have a daughter with Autism Spectrum disorder Called PDD(nos) Pervasive developemental Disorder not otherwise specified. It is autism awareness month Throughout April. for those that are familuar with autism there have been some talk shows that have been very informative on Autism. The CDC is saying that the statistic is 1 in every 150 Children will be effected by some form of Autism. Lets examine this. You have a better chance to get Autism than to win the lotto, get Aids win at bingo or to get hit by a car. That should be scary. but yet there are very few people aware of this problem. If it is this prevelant now. what will theodds be in 1-10 years. will we waste that much time before we do something about it. are we going to say "it aint my problem it doesnt effect me" It is a matter of survival to get a handle on these problems and figure out not only how to prevent it but to help the ones that allready are dealling with Autism. With Alisha we were so blessed we don't have all of the issues that autistic people have she isnt a behavior problem she doesnt bang her head against the wall. I am gratefule for that there are people who are out there that have kids that go un diagnosed because our medical community either sees no profit in it or doesnt care at all. If it wasnt for some very caring people at out local BACH ECI center in out area we would have never gotten the diagnoses as soon as we did. when your child at 2 1/2 has no words,doesnt point,hug ,or says mama or daddy there is a problem it isnt "she will talk when she is ready" there is a problem. So I urge anyone who wants to learn more and feels that they could help someone they know by sharing information that is ready and availible from the computers,magazines,tv, and books to learn and share all that you can. anyone who has an expectant loveone educate them it doesnt mean we should dispose of the children it means we need to educate ourselves so we can help them achieve thier highest potential and make known that we want a cure for Autism and our Polititians carrers depend on thier ability to effect change and implament polocy to help with therapies and cures for this growing epidimic

ok.. Well, 4 years ago I broke my ankle jumping off a swing and I never went to the doctor... Since it was broken it really annoys me now ... How do I brake my ankle so I can get treatment and not suffer the pain any longer, because I waited to long and now they can't do anything about it? No too outragous ideas like jumping off a roof or a car..

so this guy asked me out two weeks ago, and i no him very well from work and i decided to hang out with him. he flirted with me the entire night and everything was great and as time went on the more he flirted with me and told me he liked me, then he stopped talking to me for while and later told me he was scared of relationships so i backed off. Now he is flirting with me again and i catch him looking at me at constantly at work. i dont no if he likes me or what but now im confused because i wanna hang out with him again...can anyone tell me whats going on?

I am sure there are countless mothers whose child is about , or is sure to be deployed. Our children are the most precious thing in life to us. We are proud of them beyond measure and at the same terrified at what they are about to face. What we say may be our last words spoken to this precious being. We want them to have comfort and strength in our words. We want them to return to us safe and sound , to know our pride and love . I know my own child will remember every word I say , and maybe at a point that these words could be the thought on his mind at a crucial time.
I do not want him to remember a terrified tearful mom. I will be, but I want to give him strength , to know my pride and love. I want him to be safe and careful. I know this man child is so brave , to the point that he would be the hero. I want him to be brave and proud, I want him to come home safe too. I am so torn at the right thing to say. I want someone that has been there to talk to me.
