I'm helping my ex-boyfriend file his taxes online today.

We have a 3 year old child together, but since we broke up last summer and moved apart in the fall, our son lives with me. I already filed and recieved the refund, so that part's done. Can my ex claim my son in any way, or does he pretty much file his return as if he didn't have a child?

Also, does he file as Head of Household? He lives with 2 other roommates now, so I didn't know how to answer that question.

Lastly, my ex pays me child support, but not court-ordered. We're still friends and he does it voluntarily, it's not messy. There is a question about supporting a child that doesn't live with you...should he list the monetary support he's given in 2006, or since it's not court-ordered support will it not even count, so to speak?

I just turned 19 and about to enter college. I also already have a part time job near my university. Me and my boyfriend of 6 years are talking about marriage he is the same age and we are going to the same university. i dont know if its to early. HELP! My daughter wants a 6' chain link fence around her back garden. There is already a 3' one with 3' concrete posts. Please can anyone tell me the best, easiest and cheapest way of erecting the new fence. I've seen concrete and wooden posts, but was thinking something more like the metal post you see in parks. A/c to the New Testament, Jesus should have come back (parousia) within the lifetime of the apostles which he did not. He never said that he would come back after 200 or 2000 years. There is no hope of his coming back in the future. Why then do the evangelicals claim that the 2nd coming of Jesus is IMMINENT? Are they not cheating the people? It is plain as pikestaff that Christ's promise as well as prophecy of his 2nd coming within the lifetime of the apostles HAS FAILED!!! Moreover, much of what is found in the chapter "REVELATION" like ANTI-CHRIST, ARMAGEDDON, PAROUSIA, CHRIST'S MILLENNIAL RULE, RAPTURE, 666,etc., sound like COCK AND BULL STORY. Why should non-Christians believe all this balderdash?

Recently, a church near me has changed their church slogan and put billboards around the city saying "Church doesn't suck". In this advertising, they changed their outreach for people to come to church as they are, and not worry about what they have done in the past. They want to knock down the thoughts that non-christians have about the church, and rather than "doing" church, they want to "be" the church.

I am a christian, and dont' think this is a good way to market a church. What do other christians think about this?

There is this girl that I used to talk to at a bank. She was always real nice and liked to flirt a lot. However, when she saw my vehicle (15 year old beat up truck), she lost intetest real quick.
