Just buy a new dryer exhaust hose an replace the whole line.Pull out the dryer an loosen the clamp holding the line.If it is attached to a dryer vent to outside around the foundation of the house you may have to unclamp it there as well. Most of the clamps are simple Just loosen or tighten with a screwdriver. If the hose or metal ventline appears ok you may be able to vacumn out the inside of the hose with a vacumn an reattach the line at the back of the dryer.

It depends on the route it takes to the outside. If it drops down and then goes out (or stays level) you can use a shop vac. This may also be possible if it goes upwards, but you will need to find a way to get to the portion that goes across if it exits an eave. Clean the outside fins/louvers too. Disconnect the vent from the dryer and clean the exhaust port in the dryer.

I know that there is a tool that they make to clean it out, but I have used my leaf blower, put it to the vent inside the house and blown it out, then my husband went on the roof and cleared out the roof cap. IT should blow the lint right out.
