Bass guitar player ever to pick up the instrument. But on George Harrison's songs ,he seemed to kick it up a bit loud.Do you think he was a little jealous of 'Something' and 'Here Comes the Sun' ?Although the bass on the previous was superb in every way.

I built my own computer, I have an asus p5nsli motherboard and i recently made the jump from windows xp to Vista, after hating vista I decided to go back to windows xp, so after reformatting my hard drive, and reinstalling xp, some of my drivers do not work. The one I am the most concerned with is my Ethernet driver, because of this I can't use the internet. When I put in the driver disk that came with my motherboard everythign works fine, then when i click to download the internet driver it starts downloading, and looks like it's at the end, then it says, "1607: Unable to install, InstallShield scripting Runtime." Also when I install xp, it does not start with the standard xp theme, it has a classic theme and the xp theme is not even on the computer. And also xp is not owned by me, it's my friends and i'm borrowing it :D. Any suggestions guys?

Thanks alot~

I've lied on my resume to get a job at a retail clothing store. I'm only a student right now and after so many unsuccessful attempts at finding a job, I took my friend's advice and lied. Now they've called me for an interview but I don't know if they'd be able to check where I've actually worked. My uncle told me that I could put him down as a reference and he would say that I worked for him over a course of a few months. It isn't a professional job or anything, it's just a part time job for me to earn extra money so I don't believe they'll be extremely hard at screening their potential employees. Is there any way for them to find out from my social insurance number or anything else? Thanks.

Having been recently released by the Iranians, do you think that its justifiable for serving military men to be selling their story to the media? Given the current climate vis a vis the Iraqi debacle and the fact that while in capitivity, the servicemen and woman was shown on telly having a good time with their captors. Should serving soldiers seek to sell their story for a profit?

NEW YORK - In a rueful reflection on what might have been, an Iraqi government insider details in 500 pages the U.S. occupation's "shocking" mismanagement of his country — a performance so bad, he writes, that by 2007 Iraqis had "turned their backs on their would-be liberators."

"The corroded and corrupt state of Saddam was replaced by the corroded, inefficient, incompetent and corrupt state of the new order," run by President Bush Ali A. Allawi concludes in "The Occupation of Iraq.
Allawi writes with authority as a member of that "new order," having served as Iraq's trade, defense and finance minister at various times since 2003. As a former academic, at Oxford University before the U.S.-British invasion of Iraq, he also writes with unusual detachment.

The U.S and British-educated engineer and financier is the first senior Iraqi official to look back at book length on his country's four-year ordeal. Bush has made a terrible mistake. His troops have died for nothing.

Saudi Reformers: Seeking Rights, Paying a Price

"I wrote the latest book just to say that the problem is not from outside, the problem is from ourselves; if we don't change ourselves, nothing will change," Hamad said over coffee in the green marbled lobby of an upscale hotel near Dammam, the city along the Gulf where he lives.

His earlier books challenging sexual and political mores remain banned.

Hence, Hamad writes novels to try to jolt young Saudis into re-examining their own society. Fawaziah al-Bakr, a college professor, agitates for women to question their assigned roles. Hassan al-Maleky, a theologian, argues that no one sect, such as the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia, should hold a monopoly on interpreting Islam.

Why "truth" is capitalized I don't know either. Anyway, can anyone remember a time when a liberal didn't spin, flip, flop, reverse, make up or plain ol' lie? Saying something over and over again does not make it true. Progressives are so concerned with the truth and yet all they do is avoid it.
