Having been recently released by the Iranians, do you think that its justifiable for serving military men to be selling their story to the media? Given the current climate vis a vis the Iraqi debacle and the fact that while in capitivity, the servicemen and woman was shown on telly having a good time with their captors. Should serving soldiers seek to sell their story for a profit?

I sure I want to know more about how they were strapped in the comfy chair and poked with the fluffy pillow. It majes you wonder what they would have confessed to if they had been sent to GITMO or Abu Grahib.

Given the cowardly stance taken by the British during the whole hostage debacle, the sailors' stories will be censored to some extent. Here's a little excerpt from the recent news....

Liam Fox, the shadow defence secretary, said: “One of the great things about our armed forces is their professionalism and dignity. Many people who shared the anxiety of the hostages’ abduction will feel that selling their stories is somewhat undignified and falls below the very high standards we have come to expect from our servicemen and women.”

I can tell you that if it were me, I'd be giving those Iranian fascists the finger on camera and telling them what I really think of them. I'd go on every televised interview that would have me to tell me story, and use the opportunity to let them know that me and a lot of my fellow Americans want to destroy their government. No postwar occupation though. Let them all fend for themselves.

You can't stop women making money, they have their rights, if there hadn't been a woman and 4 hurray Henry's in the UK outfit we never would have heard a thing about it. Did you clock the look on the faces of the real men who only gave name rank and serial number amongst them?

It's a disgrace. It will make the British forces the laughing stock of the Middle East .
Having been captured without a shot being fired these people should crawl into a hole and keep quiet.

No one in the military should be allowed to sell their story until they leave the military service in my opinion.
