Bass guitar player ever to pick up the instrument. But on George Harrison's songs ,he seemed to kick it up a bit loud.Do you think he was a little jealous of 'Something' and 'Here Comes the Sun' ?Although the bass on the previous was superb in every way.

I don't think he was really jealous of George. Paul got more lead vocals and he had his songwriting talent, so George only had his lead guitar. But then, even as George's songs got better, he was still looked down at as a little brother by John and Paul. Maybe Paul was jealous a bit in "Something" because "Something" was such a powerful song...

Paul has fantastic talent for bass as well as other musical instruments. But I would rate John Lennon the top musical brain, hands down.

Chris Squire from Yes was/is the best bass guitarist ever. Why would he be jealous of his bandmate George?
