I plugged in a Shaver and the whole room went out and now it wont go back on, none of the circuits are tripped in the circuit breaker and i have tried reseting them but its a no go.. any advice?

My name is John Tuilici—I live in America but I am Italian-Swedish and my family has been pronouncing the name To-lee-see. I went to Italy and some pronounced it that way; yet, most pronounced it To-lee-chee. I know that the second pronunciation is more Italian in regards to the sound of a “c” yet, my family has always been under the impression that it pronounced with an “s” sound because we are from central-Tuscany (Lucca) and that is the dialect…but nobody seems to really know. I went to EPCOT and all the Italians pronounced it To-lee-chee. I want to pronounce it correctly but I am not familiar with different Italian dialects.

So, could someone who knows a great lot about Italian dialects help me in how to pronounce Tuilici when it is from Tuscany?

Just curious...how many people reading this are academically trained in or have formally studied philosophy (i.e., took classes or majored in philosophy in college)? Of those people, how far did you get with your studies (major/minor, BA, MA, PhD) and at which schools?

And how many people reading this are self-taught or just interested in philosophical questions? Of those people, if you went to college, what did you study if not philosophy? If you plan to go to college, what's your expected major?

Ok I have a puppy. I have had her for 8 months now. when she gets mad at me or my family she chews things up. tonight she chewed up my moms shoes because my mom would not take her out front on the porch. up my life big time. In this day and age when people buy themselves into deep debt, I have the opposite problem-an inability to spend money. Spending even on the most basic needs like food/rent create massive anxiety. And I don't spend it on anything else. It isolates me tremendously. I have an inkling of some of the childhood traumas that have created this, but I am overwhelmed with anxiety. It is bizarre-some people use shopping to ease anxiety. Shopping for me, even for underwear is a nightmare. Needless to say this has quite an impact on my life. Any suggestions for this money monk?
Anyone else relate? How do you deal with it. Don't say see a therapist-I'd go in a heartbeat-if it was free! However...

Intelligent design could be posited as bio-mechanical machines being pre-programmed to change rapidly in event of a near extinction event?

An affected species would thus give spontaneous birth, in mass, to a mutation and then simply die out leaving in it's place the new species, being a mutated adaptation, which not only explains an incomplete fossil record but would also account for there existing sufficent numbers for the mutation to be viable, replicatable, and sustainable.

Such as described would explain the incomplete fossil record because there was no long drawn out incremental changes over eons.

This would imply that there is a pre-existent program, for purpose of continuation of a bio-mechanical machine in response to the triggering of an event that would not permit it to continue unless and but for activation of an adaptive mutation program?

Evolution may exist but so does apparently another vehicle providing for more rapid adaptation?

because I got a zebra and he killed half of my fishes that I had and the most incredible thing was I had a betta fish and I had it outside near the fish tank and when I got home I didnt see the zebra in my fish tank so I thought my sister took it back because she gave it to me ,,,to my surprise the zebra was outside the fish tank(15 galon) in the small jar and the betta was killed but it was 1 million in not to missed the jar other wise he would have killed himself on the carpet is that crazy or what,,,,,,,,,,,I swear I put this on my head,,,,
