This is going to sound very, very VERY lame....but the highlight of my day, was buying my s-i-l a really tacky/ugly/cheap birthday present.....just like the stuff she gives me!
For my birthday, last month....she gave me a candle that was so old, the cellophane paper it was wrapped in, won't come off the darn thing. She also gave me this little plastic nail polish bottle holder.......which was okay... (even though my one monthly luxury for myself, is getting my nails done by a professional nail tech!).....but she didn't even try to hide the fact that this thing was old and used as well. The box was completely falling apart...I mean completely! She didn't even try to tape the box back together.
She swore these things were brand new....that she'd spent like two hours at the store, picking this stuff out for me when it was clearly obvious, she just gave me stuff she had laying around her house.
Soooo, I decided to be tacky back to her....although I actually spent $2.50 on her.....I got her this really ugly bird statue thing to put in her flower bed (that cost $2.00) and the card I got her was $.50!!!!
Oh yeah, the card she gave me, she used White Out to cover up the name of the person who had given her the card!
I can't wait to see her face when she opens her gift tomorrow...although, she'll probably LOVE it!

I found a cell phone at the check out counter at the grocery store and handed it to the clerk. Happy Easter.

Lots of things. We made Jello eggs (Jello Jigglers in the shape of eggs) and colored some eggs. I love the way my daughter really gets into it with her creativity! Thanx for asking. And Happy Easter to you too!!!

My daughter (2) told my mom "My 'mame' is Princess Gaby. Sort of caught my mom off guard and it was so darned cute!
