If you could spend one day with someone in the Bible who would it be and why? Not Jesus please because I have a feeling too many people would say Jesus even though he would be my number one choice!

I am not too concerned with just one day... I will have all of the time I need to meet all of the individuals who matter from the history of The Church... They will all be in Heaven when I get there.

I would have to say Mary Magdalene. I am curious to see who she really is. I don't believe that she was a prostitute, as is the accepted belief. She plays such a huge role in the life of Jesus, yet she is barely mentioned in the Bible. I'd be curious to see if she was married to Jesus. Not because of how the Da Vinci code goes (I don't believe all that), but because God's plan for us all is to get married and have children. With Jesus being the perfect man, I wonder if he was married. Just something I think about.

I would like to spend the day with Peter's wife. I don't think she is ever mentioned in the Bible specifically, but I think the Bible mentions somewhere about Peter having a mother in law.....so he must have been married.

Why her? Well, Peter is my favorite disciple. Not because of anything great he did....but because he was so REAL. He was just a regular guy with insecurities and worries and a problem with speaking before thinking....ect. I just can't help but to like him. However, being a married woman myself, I would rather spend the day with his WIFE. I mean, how in the world did she handle him being gone all the time? What did she think when he came home and said, "by the way I'm going to start following this guy named Jesus."?

If he stuck his foot in his mouth so many times with Christ, I can just imagine how many times he got "the look" from his wife. I would love to talk to her and find out what it was like being married to one of Christ's disciples!

Either Mary (Jesus' mother) or John (the Revelator). Because of their unique relationships to Jesus. I'd like to know everything about Him; from the night He was born, throughout His childhood, until His crucifixion. Especially the common, day to day way He lived. What He was like as a son and a friend, a teacher and Savior, God and man. What must it have been like to hold God as a baby? A toddler? What did He like to do? Could He sing? And then to see her son crucified? How did she bear it as a mother? I'd have a million questions for both Mary or John.

Lol I was going to say Jesus and then I read a little more... 1) God
2) Jesus 3) Samuel, because God and Him had a great relationship 4) Daniel, " same reason" 5) Moses 6) Noah
Mainly these ppl because of their relationship with God.
Thanks for asking! Jesus be with you...

Well if you are a Christian you can spend every day with Jesus.

But I think I would like to spend a day with Elijah the prophet. Talk about a guy with courage. We don't have many like him around today. There are many powerful men on the earth, but so many of them are just cowards with resources.

All Elijah had was courage, obedience and God!

Dimas

His request to Jesus raises a number of significant theological issues. Yet his role is so minor that none of the canonical gospels bother to mention him by name. You have to go to _The Acts of Pilate_ to get his name. [He is alluded to in Matthew and Mark, and quoted in Luke. ]

For the Tanach, the character to talk to would be Manasses. His book _The Prayer of Manasses_ is a complete contrast to the earlier description of him.

I think it would be Paul.

He was the one Jesus chose to bring the Gospel to us.
He was the Pharisees of Pharisees, became a Christian and never gave up.
He stood firm on his belief and love for Jesus.

I just think it would be awesome to hear him tell what he went through

Enoch. the bible says he walked with God and was not. I would like to know how this man was so upstanding that God allowed him to skip life and just go to the throne room. I'm not a Christian but this guy must have done something right.
