If you are unsure about a person, he is probably looking at your outer self. Someone who likes you for your "inner beauty" will cause you to feel very comfortable in your just woke up face, but don't test him that way. When it is "inner" you will know in your inner self without asking the question.

You answered your own question, obviously when you look groomed and well they are all over you, so the answer is obvious, but someone who looks beyond that will at some point see you without makeup, just out of the shower, or sweaty and grimy because you've been cleaning our your room or something, or even sick, so the guy who stick by you in the beautiful times and the not so beautiful times is your kind of guy.

Well, I guess you could stop getting all dolled up and wait for the guys that still notice you.
Or, if that's not quite what you have in mind you could make sure you are seen without makeup, wearing your grungy stay at home clothes, etc. fairly early in your relationship with the guy. If he reacts badly, then he's probably after you for your looks. If he doesn't mind, then you he might just like you for you.

the guys? You're not talking about a boyfriend, just guys you see around in general? That's stupid. They don't know you yet! How the heck are they supposed to know your personality? Attraction is first based on looks, after spending time together they learn more about your personality, then maybe the attraction to your personality grows stronger than their attraction to your looks. You're trying to do it all backwards.

Don't sleep with a guy and you'll quickly find out if he likes you for you or he's just looking for someone to use. A guy who likes a girl, will respect and wait for her physically. Good for you for being a virgin. You'll never have to worry about being used and tossed aside, because you're smart! ;o)

If you can pick out one individual who you like the best, you should be kind to them. Talking to them and giving them hugs is a good start. When they notice that you are being kind to them they'll start wanting to do stuff with you just because you're being kind to them. The guy would stop liking you for looks and then start liking you as a person. Idk if this will work if you're a girl, but It worked for me.

well, then you're just going to have to show your inner beauty. but if guys are still all over you like mindless drool monkeys, just for your looks, then tell them off! tell them, if they wont accept you for inner beauty AND outer, then you're not interested in associating yourself with them.
stand strong!

Intentional bad hair day
....although that can be sexy at times
You sound like you've got it going on so try a blatant fashion mistake. See who still talks to you then. There's your guy.
Also, who talks to you when your sick abd carrying around a box of tissues? There's your 'unconditional admirer'.
Hope that helps.

you wait and be friends until you know him really well. It can take years.
we were friends for 6 years before we got together - and have been together a further 8 years now! you just don't rush into boyfriends and have self respect and wait til the right one comes along

Any guy worth anything will like you whether you are fixed up or not. My husband loves me first thing in the morning with my hair all messed up and he likes me with no make up. It depends on the character of the man, and their maturity level.
