Yup, those are fine. Its a very good idea to feed your betta 2-3 kinds of food at least. This really improves the color ofthe betta. I feed Mine, tetramin flakes, hikari pellets, freeze dried bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp.
I have heard frozen/fresh blood worms will really bring the red out in a betta.

Basically flaked food is all alike. They sell it under betta flakes to get those of us who own betta's to buy the special food. I have a fantail betta who will eat anything, but prefers the pellet food to the flake food. They also like bloodworms as a treat. I them to mine about twice a week. The thing about fish food is the fish will eat when he's ready which is why I find a lot of food wasted on the bottom of the tank. So what I've done is feed it every couple of days which is perfectly ok as well. I have a wal-mart here in town but they don't sell a lot of fish food, and they don't sell live fish. I have to go to the pet store for live fish. I've also found the pet store sells for less than Wal-Mart.
